You say "safety", but I'm struggling to imagine truly feeling safe without freedom (so I voted freedom).
Freedom. If you aren't free then there's no point to live.

Without safety freedom has no value., without freedom we are slaves. So I chose both
I'm largely interested in the dichotomy between a man and a woman's mind when it comes to this subject. While I understand the interrelationship you describe, I do believe both are quite separate and one cannot have it both ways. Safety allows one to stay content without worrying of risk. There is a lower degree of invested responsibility. Whereas freedom allows one to experience more, but increases risk and demands greater responsibility.
That’s more information and better allows us to provide answers. I’m general girls need safety more than guys as they live lives that carry more risks.
