I wouldn't say funny, but I would say a well deserved wake up call. We are moving into an age of our society where gender doesn't protect you from the responsibility of your actions. Men and women are being held accountable. I don't think the return slap was excessive, it was appropriate. She wasn't trying to hit him softly, there's no reason for him to try to hit her softly. He didn't come after her, she went to him, and was seeking violence, which she received. It seemed a perfectly appropriate response.

If you play it at 1/4 speed at around 48, 49 seconds, you can see her mouth open into an "oh" formation after the guy started the slap but before it connected. She saw it coming and just couldn't react in time. That was the moment she knew she f'ed up.

As a woman who has been physically assualted for real by a man without attacking him first she needs to learn the danger in it. The most sexist people towards women in the west are women who blame women for not being able to defend themselves. Never a man would ever say that. They know. So am glad she got what she deserved

She was the aggressor because she approached and then slapped him. Therefore, he was justified to slap her back. However, not that hard because if she had not fallen into the legs of the man sitting on the stool, she might have been injured. In any event, she didn't go back for more.

But the Russians 'slap' doesn't sound like a slap its almost silent, there is no wide swing you'd expect to see, his arm goes straight out towards her and his hand is open wide when it connects its more like a shove than a slap, and give the woman is walking around drunk its no wonder she ended up on her arse.
