Do you think it was right of this 6'4" Russian man to slap this 5'9 German woman?

For those wondering what is happening, the blonde, German woman repeats many time that the Russian man's mother is a whore in a heated exchange with him. More accurately she repeats this phrase repeatedly "you are the son of a Whore”. The Russian man then says "I’ll fuck you” before the German girl gets up in his face and says "fuck me then" aggressively. She then slaps him across the face with her right hand only for the man to immediately slap her back, which causes her to fall to the ground and knock back into the bar's counter. A Russian man sitting on a stool right next to her can be seen laughing at her misfortune.

She was being obnoxious but I voted no and the reason is bc of what you see happen, was the guy really hurt or really at any risk of being hurt, and then same question, was the girl really hurt or really at any risk of being hurt? She seems OK at the end of the video but what if she hit her head on the bar? What I mean is that it is not proportional and you can see that here with her going on the floor. Those saying "whoever hits first deserves it" I understand but at the same time there was nearly no risk that her hitting him would send him to the hospital and there is a pretty high risk that him hitting her will send her to the hospital. I think it would have been more fair if he pinned her arms or something like that.

Whoever hits first, is always the guilty party and deserves retribution. I don't give a f*ck if you're male, female, old, or cripple. If you hit someone out of anger first, you deserve whatever happens to you after that, even if bullets get involved.

People can be assholes, but words are just words. It's up to you if you want to go to jail over them or not. (Although in some rare instances, I'd be willing to take that chance if someone gets up in my face or threatens my life.)

The only reason she was acting like a bad ass was because the was counting on the idea that men aren't supposed to hit girls.

I'm absolutely opposed to men hitting women or people who are smaller/weaker than them. But she walked over and slapped HIM. He merely slapped her back instantaneously. He didn't punch her in the face or cause any physical damage. He didn't even slap her hard enough to knock her out, which I'm sure he was capable of doing.

Once she was down, he should have poured a beer over her head.

I believe this can be filed under the heading of “fuck around and find out“. You get aggressive with somebody, and you don’t know who’s crazy, you get what you get. It’s not very sporting to be the one to initiate an attack against the woman, but if she attacks first, she has declared that she has forfeit the western tradition of not hitting women. Don’t be the aggressor if you don’t want to get slapped down.

I've watched this video 100 times. It's wrong for a ma. To strike a woman out of fristeration. (Which he displayed a heroic amount of patience with her) When she decided to slap him in the face, then she put herself into harms way. I dont care about surroundings or whatever, she had that one coming.

On a side note, GREAT example of the perfect pimp slap. Came at her with the downward motion and made her knees buckle and wobble. Classic Ike Turner stuff there. Even took her a few seconds to pull herself together to get back up and even need the rail to assist her. I gave that slap a 9.2 only because there is always room for improvement.

I definitely don’t feel bad for her. I think people should be able to defend themselves. But there is also a fine line between self defense and retaliation. Legally in the long term. It can hurt you worse to retaliate. Then use the necessary amount of force to stop a threat.

She was asking for it by being aggressive and physically assaulting him. Entirely unrealistic of her to think she can assault people without it being returned and rely on the no hitting girls rule when she is hitting guys.

I'm going to contradict myself here.

She hit first, and anyone that hits first shouldn't be surprised if they receive the same back.

That said If it were me i'd probably just have grabbed her arms to prevent a second strike and then hope either she calmed down or one of the others in the bars pulled her away if she still had her mind on attacking me.

But it certainly made her rethink he actions and I think she was a bit more smitten for him after it.

She hit him first, so she's automatically wrong and at fault. His retaliation was completely warranted. The only thing he possibly did wrong was the amount of force he used in response. I watched the clip a number of times and it's clear that he could've easily handled her with less force. Other than that, she was the aggressor. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
