No they do not hate America. They just have a different idea of what they think it should be, even when 90% of Americans disagree or don't even care.

Back in the day, the Dems adopted a big tent concept. Which means basically they knew they would split the white vote with the Republicans... so they would strive to be more inclusive. Which worked honestly, minorities flocked to the party.

Here is the problem today... they ended up pushing out or alienating white voters... because they pander too hard to minority interests. But they have to do that now, because without the LBGTQ and WOKE types they would never win another election. Because they are no longer splitting the white vote, they are losing it badly, and swing votes are not swing back to the party. They just took white votes it for granted, and they can't really do anything about it, because they can't afford to lose minorities votes, because there is no promise that whites will come back to the party.

Look at the numbers in 1996 94% of the Republican Party was white. By 2019 14% of the Republicans were none white... and only 81% of the Republican party was white. Its not that the total number of whites dropped, it's that in 1996 only 6% of the party was none white, and in 2019 that number increased to 14%.

The democratic party was 76% white in 1996 and today its only 59% white. That means the Democratic Party is 15% less white than it was. So, they lost 15% of whites, and gained 2% more blacks, and over 10% more Latinos. But even today I think Latinos are becoming concerned about the direction of the Democratic party.

Dems are losing whites left, right and center. Which is all fine a good, until you start embracing this Woke BULLSHIT because it's the only way you can win an election. Or you stand up there and promise America that the next Supreme Court Justice will be a Black Female before you are even elected. Thats blatant discrimination.

When you use a racial component as a qualification for a job, its racist and discriminatory. And to say that the Supreme Court should look more like America looks, is a lie. Blacks only constitute 13% of the total population, so Clarence Thomas being black, accounts for 13% of the Supreme Court. So, with the appointment of Ketanji Brown Jackson, blacks are overrepresented.

So, to me Biden is a racist. He basically stood up there on the campaign trail and said to America, if you are WHITE you have no chance at being the next Supreme Court Justice. Thats Racist. And the Democratic party "Big Tent" is too small for me. Because I was born with a penis, and that makes me a man and I am proud of it. Never thought I would have to say that out loud. But in today's world everything I am is under attack. I am a white heterosexual male.. and damn proud of if.

I don't think it's hatred so much as dissatisfaction, which isn't unique to liberals. Both right and left have the majority say they're dissatisfied with democracy in the US right now, don't believe we're the best country in the world, but one of the best.

The positive take away is that both are confident in the future, though I'm assuming it's because both sides assume their competing ideology will prevail. The confidence in the future of Republicans has been going down since Biden took office, and likely it would be an inverse if a Republican is elected president next term.

I think it's more likely that secession would occur, as though it sounded crazy when it was brought up, it does have a lot of support (25%), and many on the fence both left and right. The last time it was polled for was March, and with the political divide only growing wider, to the extent that we're dehumanizing each other like you'd see in a war, I think the numbers would be different only 3-4 months later.

Support for national divorce

I have been advocating for a national divorce for a while. The current situation is not sustainable. It is almost like the US is made to be divided into two countries similar to Germany. We will have an east US that will be conservative and a west US that will be liberal. We should build a wall on the east side of the Mississippi River to keep the liberals out once they run out of money.

@exitseven I think we'd be equally broke as liberals would control the largest ports on the West and East coast, as well as Silicon valley if it stayed in California. I think it was Thomas Jefferson who advocated for the Louisiana purchase to be a separate Republic with the same framework, but different trajectory.

I do remember the sentiment being that it would be too large for common values and the will of the people to be represented as the northeast would want. Anyway, sticking together and fighting, splitting up peacefully, violently, unless everyone decides to be libertarian tomorrow I don't see any painless solutions to a country that's becoming more divided.

I'll put it like this.

The love power. They'll do ANYTHING if it means they stay in power.

If it means totally opening our borders and flooding the country with migrants and then giving them handouts and voting rights... they'll vote for your party and usurp the will of natural citizens.

They blow up and make any issue some national travesty and try to divide everyone so that they'll vote for you. That is why there are so many race baiters. They want to act as if slavery still exists and they want the races to be at odds so they can spout they are the true non-racist country.

Every "cause" they make the most crucial thing ever. Now it is trans stuff. They want to make the case that they are fighting some civil rights issue and that the plight of these.03% of the population should be the main voting issue.

They have the same rights and liberties everyone has but they want them to seem like they are some oppressed group and equivalate it to the civil rights of the past.

Making someone an oppressor and someone a victim is their blueprint for getting voters.

If these things are good or bad for the country is of no concern. Them being rich, in their mansions with bodyguards and being forever in power to tell us what to do is all they care about.

Yes, they hate this country and all it's values. Democrats want to destroy capitalism. They want to be communists and believe that the state will provide everything they need. Even though communism has failed every place else they think it will work here. They are causing division in this country that we have never seen before. We have a justice department modeled after the Nazi Gestapo. The political adversaries of the democrats are being unlawfully detained and imprisoned. The military is being depleted and the constitutional right of gun ownership is under attack. Our borders are wide open which is a threat to our sovereignty and the government is in control of most of the media.

Of course they hate and despise America. This all started with Obama; his rage and bitterness that emanated from his every pore was palpable, and he stacked every non-elected administrative position in the beltway with virulently anti America, anti success pointy headed liberal wonks.
