I don't get... what is the concern with growing more food... it lowers prices... is it to lower population? To free up land to plant more trees?

Didn't the UN have a resolution to reduce human population drastically? Cutting food production, when food production is already being reduced via war, sounds like a recipe for starvation. The people at the top will get food. Those whom are not in powerful positions and economies... will have high inflation and the weakest or poorest positioned will starve.

Trouble is, people do drastic things... like overthrow governments, migrate, etc.. when they starve or thirst... it's the most basic of needs. I'd think "overthrow governments" would be a concern. As well, it can lead to more war.

So what are they thinking? I wonder if they flew their airplanes and said Yachts to get to the meeting?
