Guys, the damsel in distress scenario?

How appealing is it? Do you ever try and create a scenario where you will be the handsome white knight and save the girl?

An example, could be renting a scary movie so you can comfort her when she's distressed.

Haha, I was kind of in a scenario where I could have been the perfect damsel in distress but I didn't take the bait. The guy looked kind of pissed. They definitely like it!

It's kinda appealing in the sense that you are actually worth something more than a friend.. and the scary movie? definitely.

I personally don't like it. I'm far more attracted to a woman who can handle herself. Now if she needs comfort, I will do so because that's just human decency as opposed to a cultural desire or fetish.
