It happened to me today. An esteemed Democrat on this site, suggested that instead of Trump or DeSantis becoming the Republican nominee, perhaps it should be Liz Cheney, Mittens Romney, or John McCain.
I used to work at a funeral home, and I have the utmost respect for the dead. But I just feel that a dead person shouldn't be the leader of the free world. Call me mortuaphobic if you want, but I'm just kind of old fashioned in that respect.
Then it hit me! Why shouldn't dead people be allowed to become the president?
Dead people are allowed to vote in most states, so why shouldn't they be allowed to run for office? (Maybe "run" isn't the best choice of words, but you get it...)
