Would the Republicans ever get they are losing the war against abortions? Last year, red states such as Kansas and Kentucky also voted to protect a woman's right to get an abortion.

I guess you’re too dumb to understand state’s rights. The entire idea behind overturning Roe v. Wade was that a federal mandate of legal abortion across all states was constitutionally illegal. The idea was that the decision would have to return to the states. Thus each individual state makes their own laws regarding abortion, rather than the central government. That’s what Republicans wanted. They wanted their rights returned to their states, not to dictate what every state does like a socialist dictator. You know, freedom... You don’t seem to grasp the concept at all. In your world view everyone has to do what the party commands. Everyone has to follow the same dictate from the dictator. In a free world, communities of people determine how they want to live among each other. This allows for people with different values to coexist. Every state can have a different law on the issue.

in abortion we have an issue that special interest groups can't buy political favor. reproductive rights by all measures is a very popular position. something like 65-70% support it. and unlike the gun issue there is no super special interest group that can pull the strings on politicians. so republicans ran up against an issue that is truly influenced at a democratic level than a corporate or special interest group level.

I mean, maybe? I feel like the recent string of Republican losses are mostly just thanks to poor campaigning and choices like you pointed out with Abortions as an example. I am not sure how much support would come back to them if they ever regrew a brain. As it is, we have to mostly rely on the Republicans to make sure that the Republicans loses Ohio which is not the best strategy in the world.

Yes, but because this is mostly driven by the MAGA faction I am not convinced that people would not just blame it on them and think everything is back to "normal" if the rest of the GOP ejects the MAGA faction from their party. I would never underestimate their ability to just shift the blame to the scapegoat and that their voters would eat that excuse up.

No, but the abortion issue has been underestimated by Republicans. They do not have a cohesive policy on the subject and are silent on the issue while democrats have been spending millions on TV spots saying that Republicans want to ban abortion.

Republicans got Roe Vs. Wade repealed but never addressed what that meant going forward.

The reality is that abortion access will be decided by state senators and representatives that are elected by the citizens. It will be up to the people to decide through their elected officials. That should be their message in the future.
