Do you think influencers on GaG and in general have huge egos and get offended when people disagree with or challenge them?

It was a nice little surprise to find out I got the badge 2 months ago, but other than that, how miserable someone’s life should be to become entitled just because of one little word on their profile?

That being said, I had a previous account when I was 17-21, I was an influencer there too, but never cared about it.

I think you think too much about this topic, no one thinks they are any of more importance, just because they get to have “influencer” badge on here.

Dude u can make a brand new account and ass kiss some admin and end up with influencer in a month old or just being someone with a past account or jaut end up with mod randomly lol after being a 2 month old account.

U ever notice what influencer does when u look at the profile it gets rid of the created data of the account, then with that covered up just throw mod on them and you would think they been here for ages but if you paid attention to it before it was an influencer, it just made the account.

So either were seeing a plethora of bits or someone is making tons of alternate accounts and somehow has the hook up to getting unfluencer each time and mod. The games RIGGED

Tbh I be forgetting I'm an influencer. We don't have more control than the average user so I imagine that some mods might be like that. Don't know though. I've never encountered that problem. 🤔

Yeah, you give anybody any type of "power" or a title they deem important and it'll go to their heads.. I'm sure not all of them.. Most of them don't even do much but maybe ask questions that might get more attention..

The influencer badge is literally a “bonus” after master level except you’re randomly chosen for it. All we get is to ask one or two more questions a day than a master. Its nothing special. We dont have the perks of mods/ubermods etc and we dont get paid like on social media sites like instagram etc. I’ve seen new users become influencer in months in comparison to how some werent granted it until like 5 years later. Its really nothing to brag about. Plus im listed as influencer under categories i hardly spend time in. So yea its nothing

I am not talking about actual ones you see in every day headlines. It is a title bestowed upon certain users of the site here. But the question can extend to more known ones on Twitter or IG, etc.
