That’s close-minded ‘red pill’ ideology spreading over the internet.
I don’t prescribe to ‘red pill’, as I believe that they over-generalize women and also oversimplify how the world really works.
But, I’ve watched ‘red pill’ content for research to see what it’s all about.
By value, what they mean is SMV or ‘sexual marketplace value’.
In other words, how attractive somebody is in the dating world.
There are many aspects to attraction and physical attraction is just one aspect.
It’s true, generally speaking, that as we (women AND men) get older, our level of attractiveness can begin to wane.
A lot of these ‘red pill’ men on the internet claim that the ‘value’ of women decrease with age as the ‘value’ of men increase with age.
But if we go back to what value is supposed to mean in this context (attractiveness), I would beg to differ.
I would say BOTH men and women lose physical attractiveness with age. It happens to all of us. It’s just life.
Then ‘red pill’ guys in the internet may counter with saying that well men can make more money as they get older, there are other ways to become more attractive outside of looks.
Well… Women can TOO find other ways to be attractive outside of looks.
Such as developing great character like honesty, integrity, kindness, patience, commitment, empathy, and loyalty. — Which are ALL things that are MUCH more attractive than merely having money.
How many rich men are terrible with women and have horrible marriages, right?
Money is no silver bullet for attractiveness.
Besides, these men that are so judgmental of women are showing signs of low ‘value’ (sexual marketplace value or SMV) because acting so superficial drastically reduces their attractiveness to everyone around them.
It’s ironic. Only low value men waste so much time calling women low value and dragging them down.
People of true value do the opposite — they lift people up.

True, the kind of ‘men’ that talk and think like that repel both men and women. It’s off-putting behavior in general. They’ll lose attraction from women and lose respect from men (not that they had any to begin with).

Guys are too choosey when it comes to females. They want all these fine qualities in females, but only if there hot... And some girls are dumb enough to fall for these guys!
I don't care if a girl gets wrinkled. I prefer brains over beauty. I'm a writer and I know if I get with someone with brains, I can have a conversation about something other than what the girl on Teen Mom is doing. (Yeah, I hate trash reality TV). I feel like I lose brain cells watching stupid people to stupid things.

A man that says a woman loses value based on getting a few more wrinkles, gray hairs, etc are not worth burning calories over. Everyone ages if they live long enough. It’s okay. It doesn’t make someone less. As far as relationships go most people go for someone around their age give or take a few years, not as common are huge age gaps. Generally the ones who go for a huge gap (not all mind you) do it because of either lack of maturity, not being able to attract someone their own age, because of a power imbalance, or all of the above.
i feel like that's everywhere, in every country. so much glorification of cosmetic surgery. some toxic men just expect women to look exactly the same, year after year, or younger. and if they age, they want to dump them. as if they're a prize, looking old too lol
It's mostly bullshit red pill rhetoric based on an Okcupid poll. Guys who say things like that usually have predatory intentions. Guys can't get laid actively go after younger women specifically because they want someone in a weaker position in life, like socially and less developed, which makes it easier for them to lead them around.
A woman will point a picture of the hottest guy and say my man needs to look like that mainly because she understands that there are a lot of dangerous, creepy men. But then, behind closed doors, she's sleeping with a fat, balding man. And it's the same with guys. They will say that women who are in their early 20s are the prettiest, but they would date women in their 30s because, at 30, people have themselves figured out. And it was just a poll on Okcupid.

S. culture, but wow. “Women are not allowed to age”, what, like somehow we’ve figured out how to make aging a thing of the past? I think you’re saying there’s a higher, more stringent and still ridiculous standard of “beauty” for the typical American woman. Due to previous generations and their (often racist, White-centric) obsessions with the unobtainable perfect and flawless skin, face, body, the beauty, body care, fitness, healthcare, etc. industries continue to push the destructive narrative that many men ‘age gracefully, sexy, like silver foxes’. Whereas women are often traditionally looked down on by old-school industry standards when they don’t fit precisely within an incredibly skewed and unrealistic mold.
There is more and greater pushback against these ideals, and larger makeup, beauty, clothing, etc. companies are beginning to take notice, changing their approaches and campaigns as they strive for increased inclusivity.
lol I wish I wasn't allowed to age. I don't want to hit the big 3-0! Like most of these things, it depends on who you ask. Creepy Hollywood peeps and incels don't want anyone under 23. Heck if your Dan Schneider you don't want them over 14. But in my experience people want partners around there age normally 6 years max. As you get older and your dating pool shrinks that goes up, but still. Point is Hollywood producers might be chasing school busses, but I think most men want women who will get the there reference joke to pickman.
