Should old women 40-50 be allowed to have kids?

Today I saw this old woman in her 40s with her kid and it made m feel sad for him, knowing she won't be around to see him in his 20s

Why are some women so selfish? why have kids in your 40s? do they really want their kids to be bullied for having old mom?

“She won’t be around to see him in his 20s” my guy, you do realize the average life expectancy is not 65? Most people die in their 80’s or 90’s of old age. Unless this woman was a cancer patient, there’s no reason to suspect she’s going to die before her kid reaches their 40’s.


Unless you’re just one of those people that believes all people at retirement age should be subjected to euthanasia?

Uhm... most people don't die at 60, chief. Assuming you didn't see a newborn fresh from the hospital and she's 49, she'll be 69 when the kids a junior in college, and statistically likely to see that.

I spent a lot of time getting bullied (I was fat). I spent a lot of time around other people that got bullied. Never saw one get bullied because their mom was old.

Also, "allowed" to have kids? Last I checked we don't restrict someone's ability to breed.

sure why not? i work in healthcare and see plenty of it. how do you know the woman was in her 40s? did you ask her? and lets say she is 40, by time she is 60 he would be 20? not following your thought process here. do you know how many grandparents in the world have raised their grandkids? again i see it in my job more then you think.

Jokes aside, I think you should think this through before judging others as selfish…it‘s in our biology to reproduce and I know people who desperately wanted kids for a long time but couldn‘t for biological causes…

You can't allow or prohibit them to have or not have kids. Its their choice to have kids whenever they decide. Not allowing having kids because they will be bullied is ridiculous, because in this case you can phohibit birth at all. They don't have the right to be born, becase they will be bullied (for whatever reason). Its stupid.

Yes they should. Some women have different circumstances that prevented them from having kids early like supporting family members until they were able to get on their own feet or thinking they were unable to have kids and end up pregnant at a later age.

Most women can't have kids over 45, they become no longer fertile. So it's a miracle she did. Kids bully kids for having hot moms, not old moms. Also, women don't just die at 60, unless they are unhealthy.

Stupid thinking, my Father was in his 60s when me and my siblings were born, and we were never bullied for having a older Father. And people tend to live into their 80s these days.
