Elon Musk is into Grok because these AI models will define the future, and as a techno-capitalist, he doesn't want to lag behind. I think in the long run, he believes his corporations will matter massively compared to Apple and Amazon, because he not only produces IT tech solutions but also produces high value industrial wares, but there's a reason he bought Twitter and is trying to replicate an AI

He just wants an data-hub he can utilise in his future plans. Amazon, Google, Uber are so powerful because they have free access to people's data. They are massive monopolies in their own domain, so he just doesn't want to rely on them when this techno-capitalistic world is being formed.

Because elites hate rationally and independently thinking people and now they hate rationally and independently thinking AI as well. Free thinkers are always a problem for those who want keep you dumb and poor.
