Who is your favorite senator?

Louisiana Senator John Kennedy is intelligent and eloquent. He has a Mark Twainish demeanor but has shown he can be tough.

Actually, I could not agree more. Senator Kennedy is smart, witty, civil. About what you want in a statesman.

Also, I would put in a word for Senator Josh Hawley. He is articulate and while definitely has distinct views, articulates them in a civil and eloquent matter.

For wit, I give the edge to Senator Kennedy. However, Senator Hawley is a close second.

@Jamie05rhs Absolutely agree with you. However, as I say, for intelligence and wit, Senator Kennedy is hard to beat. He does not suffer fools gladly, but with his tongue, they often don't know he is calling them fools.

Kennedy is pretty good, but the Republican Senate is basically worthless as long as McConnell and Cornyn, and the additional ~10-12 RINOs they prop up are running it. While those people are there, nothing of value is ever going to change even with a majority, and anything people like Kennedy say may as well be for show.
