Both.

The USA has plenty to be proud about, and plenty to be ashamed about. And that's more-or-less true of every other country on the planet, though some are certainly better or worse than others overall.

I believe in the ideas that the USA was founded upon. I definitely don't believe in the actions taken by the government that would wipe their ass with our founding documents. I would love to see FAR more government accountability, and I'm fully aware that people on BOTH sides of the aisle deserve prison time, and some likely deserve to sit on Ol' Sparky.

But despite some very serious problems, enough of the founding principles still exist for me to be proud of, and at an individual level, there are a lot of people who do a lot of good by following those principles on a daily basis.

Since I have been around for over fifty years. In my opinion things just keep getting worse! So much more corruption. If a politician is not corrupt when elected. It doesn’t seem to take long until they are.

I’m proud of the great US, the only thing I’m ashamed of is our country sticking our nose in other countries problems. We have enough problems here to deal with.

Ashamed. It is been a global thief and mass murder machine since 1950 and gotten nothing but worse. It even turned against the American people.
