Is it wrong that I refuse to get more involved in politics?

do vote in the primaries, but I don't really get involved with local politics much. I could be going to meetings, and volunteer. The reason is because I Have pretty bad social anxiety, and it would just be way out of my comfort zone. I also just don't know enough about politics either. I was talking to my friend who is part of the same party, and he said if I don't get more involved then the horrible things that may happen if the elections don't go our way, then it's my fault.

In my opinion, people need to stop putting so much all or nothing stock into presidential elections and pay a lot more attention at the local and state level, because politics closer to home are going to affect your day to day a lot more. If anyone wonders where all the gender theory woke Marxist nonsense came from, then perhaps school board elections aren't as inconsequential as 90% of the public seems to believe.

Not necessarily, it’s important to vote with what you’re knowledgeable in. Though it is important to take part in it in order to make a difference… but it is up to you.
