The entire leadership of the FBI and several other agencies has to be purged. Without that, may as well do nothing.

Now from a practical standpoint, there's also not much reason to have so many redundant agencies. That would mean either consolidating all federal law enforcement under one big agency, or dividing them up so thoroughly that there's no overlap.

I dunno something needs to be done. Calling them a net-negative is an understatement. Pretty much everything they've done is in violation of the constitution.

I do not think that the FBI can be cleaned out enough so that it will be and effective law enforcement agency. It needs to be de funded and disbanded. A new agency must be rebuilt with none of the old players. Maybe it should be independent of the DOJ.

I worked as a parking attendant at an airport. I had a nice little, heated and AC booth. Occasionally a member of law enforcement would stop by and give me their card.

"Hey, if you notice anything suspicious, call me."

I only once saw something suspicious, but I'd rather not say who I called.

Anyway, I agree... the FBI (Gestapo) needs to get gone.

Like you said, if we start over with the FBI, they can't be under the justice department. Oh, and I heard that the FBI paid a visit to NYC liberal mayor Eric Adams. Back in the day, it was our right as citizens to badmouth the president. But no longer. Eric is blaming Biden for this non-invasion we're having on the border.
That's why us smart people warn the TDS crowd, that they might like it when it's Trump, but wait until it's their turn.

FBI needs to go. The NSA needs to go. The ATF needs to go. The EPA needs to go. The IRS need to be completely taken down and redone and the FDA needs to be rebuild from the ground up.

Or, you could just fund the IRS properly, and reduce the deficit. Thanks to Democratic funding, the IRS has:

-Collected $160 million from rich tax cheats (so far)

-Audited Microsoft and charged it $29 billion in back taxes

-Made it easier to file taxes through free-filing programs in 13 states
