Do they wear cowboy hats, plaid shirts tucked into their jeans, play Fender Telecaster guitars plugged into Fender amplifiers, drink Molson, and hold right wing views?

It can be difficult to tell a Canadians apart from a citizen of the neighboring state.
Economically, culturally, and socially they seem and are very much alike from the perspective of people from other more distant states and provinces.
Canada doesn't have an analogue of the Southern States which is a distinct geographic, cultural, environmental, region of of north America. Once called Dixie, theit is one of the 9 natural nations north America breaks up into and is entirely in these united States.
The other nations are shared between the U. S. and Canada with the exception of Quebec which is entirely in Canada, and Mexican America which is shared with Mexico.
Therefore the English parts of Canada like the united States are all broken into about 5 natural nations. With the bulk of all Canadians really being in the foundry.
Canada's cowboy regions are really part of the breadbasket nation which is also the U. S. Cowboy region. Specifically the great plains portion of it, which goes all the way down to Texas.
We Canadians are a lot more like our southern neighbours than most people realize. Though, we do have a lot of cowboys and drink a lot of Molson. Lol.
