I don't consider myself on a political side, but because I like Trump better out of the options given... I've experienced some of the most vicious personal attacks for no reason from some foaming at the mouth leftists with TDS and they never get reprimanded. If I fire back with any personal attacks or too many facts they don't like, the minus 7 points is swift... even when I don't, I find myself being reported over and over for admin review just to be put back every time.

So because of that, I think I'm pretty aware of what you're talking about. It's like a pretty big double standard. Rules for thee, but not for me. To be fair, I don't think it's really the admin, because they'll just review it and put it back the majority of the time. It's who does the reporting.

Their tactics seem to be to attack you (not your ideas) until you attack back and then they report you for it. They are 'cry-bullies' 90% of the time. If the admin would just take a look at who does all the excess reporting and badger the shit out of users with personal attacks instead of staying on subject, I think they'd cut pointless reporting by at lest 50% just by getting rid of them.

Now with all that said, the ones that really seem to badger the shit out of people with the personal attacks usually have a far-left perspective. I've never had a Mitch Mcconnell supporter calling me names and assaulting my penis size, intelligence, sexuality, or something like that...100% of the time it's a leftist. Back when Obama was in office they were the flat-earthers, vegans, socialists/marxist, and feminazis that want to kill all men. They've found a home though in the Anti-Trump era. They've all banded together basically.

The stated reasons often don't seem to apply. They just don't like your comment and try to find some boiler plate justification like too "explicit" or "offensive" to make it sound like you went against company "standards".

It's a way of blocking information and stifling certain opinions. "Warning: don't stray to far from the official government/mainstream narrative or it might offend someone."
It results in self-censorship. It is a method of keeping society dumbed down.

I suspect that it is the work of certain ideological, "woke", politically correct, mods who simply remove things that they don't like. I also have the impression that Democrats and so-called liberals are more likely than conservatives to engage in cancel culture. Although it's conservatives and libertarians who defend the right of corporations to do whatever they want.

I'm aware. However, GaG is neither a government entity nor is it the news media. Thus, it is allowed to set whatever rules it likes - AND the users are allowed to leave if the rules are too restrictive or unfair. GaG has to please its user base if it hopes to survive, so it can't stray too far from the average values of the user base without creating too much friction.

That's not to say that they haven't done so from time to time, but the friction that developed formed some re-assessment.

I would personally like to see a bit more freedom for discussion here, but I also understand that GaG is primarily a relationship-focused site and not a politically-focused site, so I can understand why they wouldn't want everything to devolve into politics here. I don't envy their job trying to find the right balance, and it's why I've always avoided taking on any official role here - I want my views and opinions to be MINE and mine alone, and not have to self-censor myself because I'm representing the site.

Most of the censorship happens because other users use the option to remove comments on their posts. I have gotten an opinion removed however for stating that there is that a womens prime dating age is under 30, they considered it "hateful".

Everyone on this site also has a right to free speech, but our rights do NOT override the site's owner's right to free speech. To force somebody else to publish your speech is a violation of their right.

It's common for the rights of one person to conflict with the rights of another. In some cases it's difficult to decide whose right wins out. But in the case of GAG, it's very clear. It is their site and their right trumps everyone else's.

I would say there is free speech but freedom of speech doesn´t involve that people have to agree with what is said. My first comment probably was too complicated. My point is that generally speaking I would say political free speech isn´t reduced on GaG but I say that because I haven´t posted anything controversial on here. I can´t remember that any of questions have been blocked or got a report.
The reason it could be reduced though is that GaG and other social media companies are made to do so by law. What in the real world laws, the police and the courts and constitution are, is represented online by community guidelines and moderators. They are compelled to allow or not allow certain political statements or else the company running the platform can be charged for it.

Only members of the electoral college get to vote (and they only pick whoever the rich tells them to), everyone else's vote is ignored, so it doesn't matter if illegals vote or not, they won't get counted either way.

And thats not even accounting for gerrymandering districts, throwing out paper ballots, or hacking electronic voting machines, all of which happen every election.

Also, voting for a person to rule the country is stupid, we should vote on which laws get passed instead.

There isn't going to be a civil war over that, trump is in and out of court with so many charges against him that he's likely going to prison for a very long time, which officially speaking bars him from ever getting picked again (but really the people actually in charge already made that choice).
