Question

I might get a lot of flak for this but I am an anti-feminist and conservative. Despite my love of being independent, I eventually want to be in a traditional role. I still will work, but I will mostly take up a more traditional role in the household.

I see the decline in masculinity, the lower college entrance rates of younger males, more suicide success rates in the male gender, and I have a big fight for men's rights.

My boyfriend is considering going back to school, which I fully support and think he should do so. More men should be going back to school or enrolling in school. We need our men in the education system. We need our men in the forefront not in the background.

We live in an era where I feel women are getting away with way too much. Where they are falsely accusing males, taking them for all they are worth in divorce and child support, taking their children away from them and shaming them if they aren't being masculine enough but how can they be anymore when women are taking up their roles and becoming more masculine?

I'm also opposed to abortion except in extreme cases to where it's necessary such as rape or health concerns.

Shoot me but it's time more women take a stand against the feminist movement which has gone to shit to be frankly honest.

It's worse than even you realize. What we call "woke" or "wokeism", also called DEI and now trying to be relabeled and expanded as "BRIDGE" is very specifically institutionalizing racism and sexism against white and Asian males. Anything corporate that men tend to do or enjoy is being targeted by activists who want to either destroy that thing or take it over and make it female and/or minority-focused.

You've seen this happen with movies and TV over the last 7-8 years, but that's just the most visible area that this is happening - it's also happening throughout corporate America, and companies are perfectly fine with losing hundreds of billions of dollars by driving out experienced and talented men in favor of women/minorities who only need to check the right boxes (none of which have anything to do with their talent or experience) to be hired in place of the men. Supporters of this movement literally believe that "you can't be sexist against men and you can't be racist against white (or Asian) people" and the policies they are implementing are overtly sexist and racist. Hell, California actually tried to repeal civil rights in the state via Proposition 16, so that they could more readily implement racist and sexist policies throughout the state government. Let that sink in.

One of the hotbeds of this in the last month has been video games. There have been a number of DEI companies - nearly all run by women - who have taken over video games by threatening video game companies if they don't adopt their "narrative consulting services" - which involves things like race and gender-swapping characters, inserting pro-nouns, gay flags, pro-Woke dialog, making sure default players are never white, and making female characters ugly and sexually unattractive on purpose. But even more than that, they have thoroughly infiltrated the game companies themselves, and changed the focus of the companies from "making high-quality games" into "pushing DEI at every possible opportunity at all levels." Just as has happened with movies and TV shows, video games have been flopping, even major franchise sequels, and recently the role of these "consulting companies" have been revealed. Now, major people in the gaming world want to permanently ban gamers and blacklist any developers who have shared this information with the public. Gamers are being labeled as "toxic" and much worse because they refuse to embrace these games.

This crap is everywhere - even in places where men cannot be replaced because there are literally zero women willing to do the work - electrical linemen, oil-field workers, etc. There are still feminists getting positions in these companies and sabotaging the careers of men because they won't "volunteer" to support DEI or donate to certain political campaigns or whatever. And men who complain about this are routinely fired, for any reason that can be found or made up.

Nearly all of this stuff is coming from women, who are overwhelmingly leftist, feminist, and Marxist. These same people are responsible for the $20 minimum wage laws in California that has resulted in tens of thousands of lost jobs directly. They also made a huge number of contract jobs illegal - forcing companies to hire people as full-time employees instead, which effectively just means they aren't hired at all - all because the unions pushed for this because they want to find more people to unionize (since union power has been falling, as the unions have killed the jobs of existing unions).

It's an all-out assault on men at every level, and if it isn't reversed quickly, the result will be Marxism - and all of the women who thought they were going to live big Instagram lifestyles will find themselves being dirt-poor and powerless, because that's what they voted for.

Sounds like you’re enjoying the freedom to pick your path and support your guy heading back to school, all thanks to the very feminist movement that you condemn. Feminism was first about enabling those choices for women.

A lot of guys are skipping college, and it’s not because women are elbowing them out, but because they’re heading straight to work or just aren’t jiving with the school system.

With kids and custody, the deal is usually about who’s doing most, which is overwhelmingly women. If dads are the ones up to their elbows in diapers and homework, they can and do get custody.

The legal system can be a hot mess, but let’s not gloss over the massive issue of underreported crimes like rape and abandonment that lean heavily on women. It’s a two way street of injustice that needs a serious overhaul.

Your take on abortion is your own, and that’s cool. But not everyone agrees with you.

Advocating for men and voicing concerns is great, but throwing feminism under the bus isn’t the play.

I said "Anti-Feminist" but I am a feminist, just not the kind we see today.

I do think women are treated differently, but not in the workplace or just out and about. Men and women have the same rights, same pay opportunities, etc.

However, women are treated awful in the medical world. Not doctors or nurses, but the patients. Women are treated awful in the birth room (not always, but a lot), their birth plan is often ignored, they are given unnecessary medical interventions, and not given proper information about their birth options.

Women, did you know that pitocin causes your contractions to be more intense and painful? Did you know that an epidural causes fetal and maternal distress and can be fatal? Did you know that EFM (electric fetal monitoring) can be very inaccurate? Did you know that giving birth on your back is the worst and most painful way to have a baby? Did you know that most women who had a cesarean section qualifies for a VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean)?

That's just a little bit. That's not even including the women who tell their doctor that something is wrong, only to be told that it's "anxiety" or their "menstrual cycle" and have to go to ten different doctors to find out what's actually wrong.

Did you know that men and women show different symptoms for a stroke?

I'm a feminist, but I'm not the "feminist" of today that just want to bash on men. I'm not the "feminist" that supports men competing against women and invading women spaces.

I support women and I support men, and I will advocate for women to be heard in the birth room, their doctors office, and to keep their private spaces men-free.

I wish you success in this. What most people don’t realize about feminism beginning in the 1970s is that it has been funded and directed by the CIA. Gloria Steinem and other prominent feminists were on the payroll, along with many artists, academics, etc. Most of American art, philosophy, and culture are heavily astroturfed. Obviously, aside from the deep hatred of traditional modes of life on the part of our elite and the goal of increasing political support for the elite, this was designed to drive up workforce participation and put downward pressure on wages. It wasn’t enough, so they flooded the country with migrants both “legal” and “illegal,” and encouraged off-shoring of manufacturing and STEM jobs.

Furthermore, overt, institutional discrimination against white males ramped up: The regime added ESG regulations to give affirmative action teeth. Only 6% of new jobs in S&P 500 companies went to whites in 2021 and most of these went to women and sexual minorities. White gentile men make up about 1/3 of the population but just a single-digit percentage of ivy league admissions despite over-performing on standardized tests.

Getting a STEM degree isn’t enough for a white male to have a secure future in this country if one must depend on corporate work. For many, being certified in a skilled trade as at least a back-up plan is advisable and if one can work in small business or follow an entrepreneurial path (not something everyone can do) beyond the reach of DEI requirements could be an option. But realistically speaking, many women will be forced to work whether they want to or not because of these headwinds against white men. Thank the elites and their client classes for that.

I used to be a feminist supporter but the amount of bitchy ass feminist extremists, femcels and self-entitled brats online and in person is beyond me. Girls/women aren't fun to date anymore, there's nothing there for me. Girls aren't funny, girls don't hold down intellectual or interesting conversations, I find a ton of girls boring nowadays tbh. Maybe it's just the one's i've chatted with. Females on GAG open up the f-ing smorgasbord with the sheer hate for men so im just returning the favour. I'm sorry to the poster if this offends you I am not judging you, it's just my experience online and in real life. I don't like feminism and I will never date, be in a relationship with or get married to one. Girls will read this and think im a douche bag, that's fine but I don't mind taking a back seat and letting a girl lead the way if she chooses, listening to her, trying to understand her. Problem is, nowadays, feminists think so highly of themselves in this pompous, arrogant way, try to act masculine/tough which makes no sense trying to pick a fight with a guy but then pulls out the V-card of "I'm a girl!". At this point in my life, I feel like leaving the west or moving to a remote island with fish in the sea to capture and eat, an abundance of fruit and clear water to drink, with some tech and a ton of books to read and I'm good.

The moment you say that any sort of grouping that is based on a biological feature like race or sex is in power, you make the divide worse. Learning from what Hitler did with the Jews, saying that one sex needs to overthrow the other will lead to a lot of disastrous consequences.

Even if this doesn't lead to a direct genocide like the Third Reich, there are way more aspects to narratives like this that will harm societies that are incredibly difficult to come back from that we don't realize, even if you aren't the initial target of the propaganda.

We even saw similar things happen to the Jews in Nazi Germany. Propaganda saying that they are brutish, greedy, violent and unattractive slobs that spread disease and are somehow controlling everything. This resulted in their gradual exile from society and from the mortal coil. They lost their jobs, they lost their reputation, all to the point where they were getting rounded up to the applause of the typical citizen.

As horrible as the Third Reich was, Feminism is striking at a far more important core of a society, the relationship between men and women. Whether or not it goes as far as the Third Reich is up to us and how much we take a stand against this rot. Thankfully, more and more people seem to start to notice this as time goes on. Hopefully, it won't be too late.

Side note: Now that I think about it, maybe that is what the astronomical male suicide rate fits in the genocide part of the "socialization" equation. There is no need to round them all up if they are doing it to themselves anyway. All the feminists had to do was convince them that their existence brings about the suffering of women everywhere.

Do you want to go back to having to have your father or husband's permission to open a bank account? (Before about 1973, that was the case in the US.)

As for abortion, "rape or health concerns" is no longer necessarily relevant to Republican ideas of abortion rights. Six weeks is already before anyone knows for sure and hardly anyone even suspects they might be pregnant. Some Republicans are talking about capital punishment for women who have abortions.

Feminism is built on many lies, and we see how that lie is actually hurting men and women today… men are afraid to date, to try and kiss a girl… the young men of today don’t want to marry and raise a family because of what feminism has done.

Feminism is about women being absolutely equal to men  when it comes to job opportunities, salary, human rights, basic respect, etc. It's also about  ending sexual exploitation and violence . The term "Feminist" doesn't even have the same meaning it intended to have when it started. It simply requested fair and equal treatment. There was no angry deformed intent.

The people who wanted to reject this idea warped the message, as done with anything that rejects broadened minds.

The warped message is then spread as loud and far as possible. Obnoxious people were sent into peaceful movements causing trouble, giving bad impressions and damage caused. This is designed to have an impression the movement itself is like this.

I do not know what the term feminism means since there is such a broad spectrum of behaviours that some consider to fit in that terminology. I believe society should protect women from harassment and the forced birthing of children and sexual exploitation or unfair hiring standards. I'm not saying we should eliminate all behaviour clusters that are more prominent with women than men, I am just saying we must minimize the damage that misanthropes build against females when that damage is beyond the scope of normal acceptance.

The fragrance of feminism, with its base notes of empowerment and top notes of gender equality, has a certain allure, like a complex bouquet of old gym clothes mixed with a hint of moldy cheese. On the other hand, the stench of anti-feminism reminds me of rotten eggs and decaying vegetation, an unpleasant odor indeed.

Tbh It is difficult to say if you're four or against feminism since everybody has a different definition of it. But you're stating that you would like to do a traditional role I think is fine. I think the point of feminism was choice and opportunity. You are choosing to take advantage of the opportunity to be domesticated. As far as uneducated impossibly lazy men and the striving women who take advantage of them because they are not in the forefront or leadership role, I really have to say the men are reaping what they've sown and the women are pulling WAY ahead of them because of what they have sown.

i am not a feminist and i do not actively take steps to fight feminism so i would not label myself as an anti feminist either. i think it's a false dychotomy. i think feminism is a social movement based on lies, falsehoods and divisiveness as a self purpose... but i also believe the right for a person to fight for what they think is right should be afforded even to people who are wrong. because i believe that's an important principal right in a society. you must grant the right to be wrong in order to enable the processes that let truth emerge.

I'm not a fan of feminist overreach, but I'm not a fan of traditionalist conservatism either. I just want people to be kind and respectful to each other and not tell other people what to do.

The whole reason I don't like feminists is they have told me all my life that men are shit and predatory and terrible.

I am personally not politically conservative. But I am damn sure not a feminist. I am egalitarian. And you're right, we live a world where a man is shamed and demonized for even existing. Mostly due to feminism, which has also brainwashed and lied to a bunch of women, which is the main reason why women are less happy today than they've ever been despite having more freedom than ever before.

Anti-Feminist but pro fairly equal opportunity (As in equal in fairness). As for your boyfriend going back to school I advice against it if its not money he can earn back within a year or two. Schools are scams these days with how much money they cost.
