Because society is extremely narrow-minded, superficial and judgmental and will judge based on your answers to their questions about your age, status, job etc instead of your actual personality. This is avoid sharing personal information with most people, unless I know them well. It's considered extremely negative for an adult to be living with their parents or grandparents, once you're past a certain age. In Eastern societies, this isn't the case, as there's a large percentage of people, who live in the same home with their parents.
I don't really see it as a problem either as long as both parties are able to have a healthy relationship. Actually it can be very smart financially, especially if you live in an area where housing prices are ridiculous. I find it really annoying how in the states people assume that because you live with your parents, you don’t cook or do laundry or anything around the house.

It shouldn't be an issue. It wouldn't bother me. I might even admire her for being a caring person and helping them out, and also for being in a good situation for saving money for the future. Plus, grandparents have a lifetime of experiences and she's lucky to gain insights from them.
Are they healthy? Are you still in school? Is it for financial reasons? Do you have private entrance and are treated like an adult? Lots question to be answered to have a sincere answer
