Is it bye bye Rishi?

Holy Moley, I'm struggling with this.
We have a *left-wing* government. 700k per year net migration. Vast curtailments in liberty, such as freedom of speech, freedom to protest. Wokism. Tough on twitter crime; burgle or knife who you want. Lock-down fascism for a bad flu season. National debt ballooning to 100% of GDP. Benefits system out of control. Taxed to buggery. Double the numbers of long term sick, cause you know, as if paying people to sit on their arse wouldn't entrench a habit.
How are the population so ill-informed? They think the Tories are the 'Nasty Party' and that Labour is the compassionate party. The Tories are Labour lite, with a complete vacuum of any right wing or conservative policies. That's why they're being abandoned in their droves to Reform UK.
But unfortunately a huge dupe has been played on the general public. They're so ill-informed and poorly educated that they think because they have the name 'Conservative', they're instituting right wing policies. Labour will of course win by a huge land-slide. Their majority will enable them to do what they want. If you think things are bad now, wait until the left can do their work with careless abandon.
I keep reading and hearing the same thing, and it's going to get even more painful to hear this level of ignorance as the general election draws near. Honestly, I need to get out of this fucking country.
Do you think that the jews emigrating to Palestine had to integrate and become Arabs? No? Then why you want to put a limit on migration and forcing them to integrate if you wouldn't do it yourself? I would rather vote for a party that cuts down aids to Israel so that they can leave peacefully in their own country rather than migrating.
@Rebecca08 My ancestors came from Eastern Europe and all integrated. In speaking to Europeans who have come here, you wouldn't know where they had come from after a single generation. I work in a heavily Muslim area, and it seems more like Baghdad than England at times.
So if you come to a country, you should absolutely respect the culture and integrate.
Also, I'm not in favour of Israel or Palestine. Although quite logically Israel can't expect to oppress a population and not expect any backfire. They all absolutely love slaughtering each other. Gotta love these religious people.
My point is that you don't exactly have a history of integrating and I don't think that any British person who emigrated in the history, made an effort to integrate so I see a huge double standard. In South Africa the British community still speaks English and they live segregated. In America, Australia we know what happened to the natives and that's also another nice example of the British "integrating". In no case whatsoever the British were able to integrate with a very different culture. Immigration within Europe is a total different thing, the culture difference is smaller so an English can integrate in the rest of Europe and viceversa but I don't see them integrating in the rest of the World. Also, the argument "we don't emigrate anymore" is a very confortable argument, but also a huge logical fallacy based on the fact that the UK are rich so of course people don't need to emigrate to the rest if the World. But of course if they needed to emigrate they would emigrate.
I am surprised by how bad it was and even more surprised at how well the Lib Dems did, and yes it is, either now or at the GE. And yet he still says that he will win the GE. But to be honest i don't think he really cares, he and his pals are going to come out of this very rich.

My two cents:
Given the chaos that his three predecessors created, it was pretty clear that Sunak was on borrowed time the moment he stepped into the office, no? I think with the anger built up in the British electorate, not in small part due to the botched Brexit, the Tories will be blown away in the next general election.
He may do
but locals can be weird
saying that any party in this long will get voted out.
Labour have been known for grabbing defeat from the jaws of victory
Seems so, I'd better get ready for the hit squad because the Jews and anyone sympathetic to them will be in mass graves for a start then it'll on to the business owners, right wingers (aka anyone hasn't only voted LibDem/Labour/Green), anyone with a negative view on child molestation, anyone with a non electric vehicle and anyone who actually works as opposed to protesting/going on strike
Well this is just the Council Elections, it doesn't reflect on the number of MPs. But it's conventional wisdom that the Conservatives will lose control of Parliament at the next General Election (some time this year) and will lose big. However Rishi himself is safe until then because the Conservative party haven't left sufficient time to realistically change their leader before the election.
Not a surprise. The conservatives have been lack lustre since they inherited government from a labour party out of steam and ideas. You can expect the same later in the year with the general elections. Remains to be seen whether labour will need help or go out alone. Then we can all bitch about an average at best labour government instead.
Why should he resign? He's already the third Tory Prime Minister since the last parliamentary election in 2019 (something that used to be a no-no)? That would just lead to Labour calls for an election in six weeks' time.
It's been that way for over 2 years now :) I don't think he'll resign. He'll wait till the last moment and then get slaughtered.
where did common sense go? a nation should be run by someone of your nationality. not this made up culture shit, where parasites from foreign lands just decided to move to england... for the weather? for the food? or for the money. how can someone born of parents who went to another country FOR MONEY, leaving their homeland behind, be a decent human being, let alone the leader of the country they never belonged to.
Another effect of Brexit. I suspect that the UK may rejoin the EU, or it will break up into its 4 component nations. Maybe King William will help decide that.
When has an Indian done anything "honourable" exactly?
He'll stay to the end, and then blame everyone else.
I’m not sure but you need somebody like Donald Trump as your president do you agree with this yes or no? Or why don’t you run for president?
Lol we already have enough bad things from the USA, the very last thing we want is Donald Trump, id rather stick with Sunak. We have successfully fought off every oppressive extremist who wanted our country so why would we want Trump. And just a slight detail you know) we are not a republic neither do we want to become one. we don't have a President. We have a PM
@Red_Arrow He would probably believe it seeing as he is Donald Trump and all US presidents think they are president of every country on the planet.
@DarkLegacy I know I corrected that I said Prime Minister. I wasn’t thinking about that at the time
BJ might have been an incompetent buffoon but at least he has the decency to step down when he broke the law.
Fcking England. America should become a colony again and declare independence a 2ND time just to kick your ass again. Lol
Holy shit!! It's a Tory bloodbath!! No. Hell hang on to the general. I am STUNNED at those numbers!!!
I hope so. The Tories have plagued this country for too long.
Yet the current UK Labour party leader guy is no better :( sigh.
Resign? The only honourable thing he could do now would be ritual suicide.
Poor England. I loved that country but just like everything they touch turns to shit.
Yeah we have over here :(
The US has been f for a long time. And the UK was fine till brexit
I hope so!
