Why do you support Trump even though he constantly lies?

Some of his lies are:

The coronavirus would disappear on its own, along with pitching bogus cures;

Trump created the best economy in U. S. history;

Caravans of criminals were approaching the southern border every time an election loomed;

Trump passed the biggest tax cuts of any president;

A modified map altering the scientific assessment of a hurricane’s path in Sharpie marker, and of course, the biggest lie;

The 2020 election was rigged, and Trump lost due to fraud.

By that same token one could ask why do people support biden when his policies have lead to the rapes and murders of American Women. The invasion of women's spaces by mentally disturbed individuals. The further destruction of America. The outright vocalization of support for the genocide of Jews. The attempted revival of the Nazi regime.

If one only looks at negatives they will see only negatives. To get a solid view of a person one needs to look at everything good bad and ugly. Now I don't support Trump. However I also do not support Biden. If I have to pick between 1 of 2 candidates I would have to pick Trump because factually he did a better Job when it comes to America's interests and people than Biden has. HOWEVER that does not mean I think Trump is a good choice. He is just the better of 2 bad choices. Ideally I would have both be barred from running. In fact I would bar anyone over 50 from running and drop the running age to 30. At which point I would like to see a democrat candidate that genuinely cares about America and puts America first and a Republican that genuinely cares about America and puts America first run for president. I would like to see them debate policies not parties. I would want to see there stances on important issues such as women's rights to privacy, women's rights to their own space. Men's mental and emotional health rights. Crime, immigration (specifically the illegal immigration.) And many other things.

Sure it bugs me. Reality is everyone lies and I am not going to look at just the negatives. I am going to look at the overall outcome of the situation. Objectively trump did a decent job as president he excelled in several areas. Didn't do great in others. Made some poor choices. Biden similar boat but slightly worse off all the way around. Now if you read the entire post you will understand a bit more what my stance is.

Comparing Trump's laws to the lives of other people, it's fallacious in the sense that the quality of the lies and the subject of the lies is greatly different across different people. Trump lied about things like national security and covid that affected all of us.

On a list of concerns that are far more important we have the flood of illegal immigrants, the mass funding of a war that has 1 outcome (ukraine loses) the support of a populace intent on genocide of an entire people (palestine/hamas) the invasion of women's spaces by inferior pathetic men. The rise of encroachments on free speech. The collapse of American Society. The massive amount of funds, resources and other things being given to illegal refugees when millions of Americans are suffering. Millions of Veterans are suffering. And many many more issues

I'd have to go through each lie and assess them.

In general, I've never liked the personality. I view a lot of that being interpreted as lies as B! llsh! tting... he's doing it to get some result or avoid a consequence. But I accept it I think... because I accept him as he is as I think there's benefits to me and the country and others. I know peeople see that different, and that's their choice.

One of his cabinet former members said... "He's an idiot". That is probably true in some regards and quite a statement.

I guess I learned to tolerate him as I agree with much of what he says.

He's a different kind of political liar... he does what he says he's going to do. That is different than other politicians that say they will do something, then change their minds. e. g. H. Clinton was kinda like that and made me puke thinking she'd be highest power, for various reasons.

Biden, I kinda like him as a person, but I don't agree with some of his policies/direction/and how he communicates. so that leaves me with a guy I don't like but prefer policies.

I'm stuck with two dangerous guys, one of which has made some huge bad moves... life altering for millions. The other could sink the country into a bigger mess just by trying to fix some of the other messes.

Maybe it be better if they both edited out the media... e. g. lied like drunken sailors... so I didn't know how F'd up the world is and how risky our current state is to go downhill. Oh... oops... they are already doing that to a large extent... and that'st he problem with Trump, if the media starts to "rip off the bandaid" the current govt is hiding and expose reality, it could be ugly.

Don't worry... we're F'd either way, so enjoy your life and enjoy the "good ole' days while they last". Might want to find a good God to have a safe exit from this world.

He does not constantly lie. He constantly exaggerates. He , may have not have created the best economy in history but he created the best economy in decades. The corona virus did not disappear on it;s own but it has behaved like a lot of viruses smd , mutated. Caravans of criminals are coming across since the current administration opened the border and offered free everything the the criminals. Trump did not pass the biggest tax cut in history but he did pass the biggest tax cut in my lifetime. Who gives a shit about a hurricane map? And the election may or may not have been rigged. Nobody knows since there were no investigations of the thousand instances of fraud that were reported. Maybe when Trump is re-elected the public will find out the truth about this. I would take a few exaggerations over somebody who keeps repeating the same lies over and over again even though it had been shown that they were not true. Although he does come up with a new one once in a while. Having an uncle that was eaten by cannibals is a future classic.
