I think if you're a president of a country they will make exceptions for that. Because they have to receive the official envoy of that country. If you refuse to meet the president (even if it's for reasons tied to him as a person like he's a convicted criminal) it will seem politically like you're disrespecting the entire country. So diplomats will not do something like that since it's their job to stay on good terms with other countries.

There have been other cases in the past where certain politicians were not welcome in other countries but then they became president and other countries were forced to welcome them.

As a head of state, other states will give him an exemption (he’ll travel on a diplomatic passport). Although, quite frankly, he won’t really go anywhere anyway. He wasn’t exactly into foreign affairs, not counting Melania, and will be absolutely useless on diplomacy the second time around. That's actually the first ground for appeal. Two of the three "underlying" crimes, that raised the dead misdemeanor to a felony, were federal offenses. State court has no jurisdiction. That's why the judge said the jury didn't need to be unanimous on the underlying crime. If they were, and picked tax evasion or FEC violation as the underlying crime, the appeal's court would throw the verdict out. The fact the judge even said they didn't have to be unanimous on the underlying crime, is another grounds for an appeal. It's actually unconstitutional! Any crime you're accused of, has to have a unanimous vote by a jury. But, you, the judge, Bragg's, and the media have your talking points lol I am happy for you.

Falsifying bookkeeping is a state crime (which was past the statute of limitation) Falsifying to influence the outcome of a presidential election is a FEDERAL crime, tax evasion is a FEDERAL crime! Now, you can make the argument that influencing a STATE election is a felony, which Bragg's tried to do but it was a presidential election. Trump wasn't running for state Senate or for governor. He was running in a FEDERAL election. In my opinion, that is governed by the FEC. Why? Because it's a presidential election! Do you know that the jury unanimously voted that he violated state election law? Or tax evasion law? Or FEC law? Without each member of the jury just picking any accusation, without being unanimous on one, is unconstitutional. Like I said, you have your talking points. "Convinced felon".
