Would you fight a case if the victim was on your side or take a deal for 3-4 years let me explain?

So 3-4 years deal but you would have to admit to somethings you didn’t do and have a record for the rest of your life or you could fight it maybe win but if you lose you get 2-4x more time in jail?

You have to admit to a few things you known you didn’t do but can’t prove since lawyer refuses to help you.
Pros for fighting the case and things that may help you win
1. You may win then become a free men or women with no record.
2. The victim in the case is willing to help you even if it means lying the other side is not aware of this fact and thinks the victim on their side.
Cons
1. You have to let someone also lie for you
2. If you lose you face double the time or 5x more
3. You don’t admit to your wrong doing

Generally, I'd maintain that—if you definitely did not commit a crime—it's best to get oneself a lawyer, first, after enacting an amendment right to silence on the matter. It's not usually worth it to admit to something one did not do and to have a criminal record on one's file, because it affects employment prospects down the line after release after either serving the time or being on bail. Even if you lose and end up serving the time, it maintains that you denied any allegations against you for having committed said crime, so, the case remains suspended until new evidence can be found to affirm your innocence. In some situations, it might be prudent to assume the other stance, say, maybe the sentence is a lot longer and the chances of return to polite society was shot to hell already. Each person is unique on what their specific needs might be.

There wasn't nearly as much at stake since it was a driving offense. But I took a deal where I admitted guilt to something I didn't do, as part of a plea bargain. Even though it was probably the right thing to do, I always regretted it.

If it's prison time, that's a tough one. It's too hypothetical to know for sure what I'd do. But with that much prison time, I'd probably fight it and hope to win. There are also appeals if I lose.

It might depend on the level of prison also, if that is known. There is a huge difference between a minimum and maximum security prison. You have your freedom taken away in any case, but the time served would be very very different.
