Hypothetically, if you hear a neighbour beating his wife, what would you do?

I guess call the police but they won't get there until after it's over and the woman has already decided to cover for him. These things are never rare. Still, it's a good idea to let him know he is being watched.

Of course none of my neighbors are married so this is hypothetical.

I would pray to God or call the police. I have read about women who were abused by their husbands and then people prayed for her and the husband died. I have also heard about men who abused their girlfriends and then somebody prayed to God and they got a terrifying warning about continuing the relationship with the girl in a nightmare and ended the relationship with the girl they were abusing.
