Are more and more people starting to dislike Japan and see through their B. S?

When I was growing up, it seemed every young White person was obsessed with Japanese pop culture and dreamed of some day moving there, but now with YouTube and other social media websites, people are starting to expose the reality of life in Japan. I see more and more videos from mixed race people or minorities who were born in Japan and speak the language and have adopted the culture, yet are treated like second class citizens, and aren't considered "Japanese" because they genetically aren't Japanese. In addition, there has also been material emerging on homelessness, drugs, depression, suicide, perverts, corruption, mistreatment of foreign tourists, etc. A lot of Japanese people are also starting to adopt a "tourists go home" mentality.

I've known for years what Japan is really like, but still a couple years ago, you would get attacked and even threatened for the slightest criticism of Japan and its people, but now I'm starting to see more and more people questioning Japanese society and saying the Japanese really aren't good people.

I also read a post from a black foreign exchange student who went to Japan. She wanted to avoid the other exchange students to get the "true Japanese experience", and she got it! So much so that she ended up befriending one of the other exchange students because Japanese wouldn't even speak to her.
