Is talking about menstruation considered taboo in your country?

It is a topic people tend to avoid discussing openly in my country, and usually only women discuss it. I remember buying sanitary pads as a teenager, and they used to conceal them so that no one could see what I had purchased.
I don’t find it gross to menstruate. I see it as a normal and healthy aspect of being female.

Not especially, though plenty of men don't particularly like hearing about it explicitly. (I talk about it anyway if I feel like there's a reason to.) Women can and do talk about it regularly depending on their relationship.

Not really but I would only feel comfortable talking about it with other women or a partner

mostly normal, and a natural thing to address when necessary

education as well, is very open about it so, not really a big deal

I've never found it to be a taboo subject, not something we talk about often, but doesn't matter who is listening. My husband has been picking up tampons and pads for me during our entire marriage.

Not at all. The women around me talk about it freely.

Probably (it goes here in Canada as well) because it's viewed as unladylike by many people, especially women.
