It's a stupid word coined by Satanic degenerate psychopaths who somehow thought that sexual perversion was the best way to prevent the next Holocaust (not making that up; they really thought so).
It's an attempt at two things. The first is as a means to downplay and eventually erase the distinctions between men and women. The second (call me a homophobic or transphobic conspiracy theorist all day long; I don't care) is that it's part of a long-term scheme to retcon man and his history and get future generations to look at history through an LGBT scope.
In the name of some kind of twisted "radical inclusion", it's an attempt to force the confusion and disorientation that a few poor lost souls feel onto everyone else. They think that we're all as confused, lost, and deceived as they are.
Now some will say "it just means that your gender corresponds to the sex you were assigned at birth!" Sex is not "assigned" at birth. Since us religious conservative types are often thought to be ignorant of the facts of biology and science, let me ask this: Do the sprem and the egg ask each other's opinion as to whether the child they will conceive should be a male or female? Or does the child in question already somehow exist and the sperm and egg just contribute?
I'll wrap up with this video...
https://www.youtube.com/embed/LmV-Vqk8S_sIt’s part of a vocabulary invented to try to normalize boys pretending to be girls. Don’t try to sell me any of that nonsense.
Welcome to speaking a living language. Gender is a concept. We made a word for it. Go us. Then we made a word to describe people whose gender and sex deviate, because gender and sex have been established as two separate concepts. Excellent. Then we made a word to describe people whose genders do match their sexes in order to be able to compare to those who don't. Evolution of the word "cis to date complete, complaints irrelevant. You don't have to like or relate to concept for it to exist. I'm not a fan of most rap music, but that doesn't mean I go around looking like an idiot saying "rap music isn't real!"
I don't know why some of y'all think it's an insult. Literally all it means is that a person has a mind that matches their body with regards to specific physical and emotional attributes. There's nothing insulting being said?
@Dongie The development of new words and concepts to better express the inherent versatility of the human experience is insanity? See personally that's the term I would use for constantly trying to invalidate other people's experiences (that have no affect on you in away way, I might add) for the sole reason that you don't relate to them...
But have fun with your insults and ad hominem 🤷♀️
@Dongie I mean you have your experiences, and like I mentioned, I'm not one to try to invalidate other people's experiences on the grounds of disagreement, so instead I'll say this: You may have seen someone get hurt from some aspect of this discussion (not too sure how exactly, but sure. Gender is a complex topic), but I've seen how happy people can be when they are able to express their identity without judgment or criticism. I know several people who have transitioned and all of them are happy with their choices and prefer their lives now compared to before. None of them have harmed anyone with regards to their transition. They are almost all friendly and polite about the topic. And even if they detransitioned, which is extremely unlikely, I wouldn't judge them for that either. People change over time, they just change in different ways. I think the language, at the very least, has more potential for good than potential to harm. I support the language a) because language itself is not inherently evil, and b) because it allows me to communicate with people I care about on issues they care about.
Oh, I beg to differ. All liberal institutions are a part of the cult. One should never give an inch to the biggest cult in the history of mankind. You all want to not only put your trigger words into our mouths but also want to control the way each and every one of us thinks. Don't you see an end game to all of their manipulations. Do you ever wonder how those think tanks operate then implement a term, concept, or idea injected into not their world. It's obvious that a majority of us do not stand with the vile, disgusting ways of the liberal. When riots occur, it's always the left looting, burning, and even causing deaths. I do not care what an adult puts themselves through. I'm not so ego inflated as to presume to tell them what they can or cannot do. But they need to leave the children alone. If one child's life is damaged then it has to stop. I've seen several ts gender as a grown adult with near suicidal aspirations over what their "loving" parents aloud them to do as a 4 year old kid.
Lady the word was made by a child rapist and pedophile. Yes English is a living language, but I refuse to use a term made up by a child rapist.

And the fact that you're okay with using it makes you just as bad as him. I see those that use it as no better than those that use the N word.
That's fine. I hope you have a nice evening. There's really nothing to discuss. As sensitive and entitled as the left is if we treated you people the way we've been treated by y'all, there would have been laws put in place making your side a most protected species. What am I saying. There are laws such as that.
@worldscolide Dude, Roald Dahl (a popular children's author) was anti-semetic, John Lennon from the Beatles was physically abusive to his family, and the vast majority of the US founding fathers were severely racist. And let's not forget the many (often racist) experiments that went into the original invention of penicillin as a medical product. But I still read James and the Giant Peach as a kid, listen to my friend obsess over Beatles music, and live in the US. Avoiding the use of any and all items or concepts produced by immoral people is pretty much impossible. I will happily denounce pedophilia and those who support or defend it without feeling like I can't use a word that is derivative of another word made by a person I don't like.
That's the other thing about living languages. Word meanings, associations, and usages can and do change over time. In the modern world, the term "cis" is not an insult (except according to those who don't like the concept it represents) and is almost never associated to its origin, let alone the values of that individual (again, except by people trying to denounce it for reasons beyond its origin).
But if it really is just the word's origin that bothers you, go coin a new word with the same meaning and put in the work to publicly advocate for its common usage.
Going by your logic then I should be permitted to use what ever words I want including racist, sexist or homophobic ones because hey the origin doesn't matter right?
The mental gymnastics you use are comical. You're never going to win this one with me. Let me put it a different way, if someone to my face used that word to refer to me, they would spend months in the hospital recovering from it.
I had no idea you knew the founding fathers. The ones that wrote down that all men ate created equal. You know, I don't think that word existed until the last century. Another liberal word to be used as a lever to quiet down or force another's actions in the direction they want. Do you suppose I had anything to do with testing on animals, let alone human beings? I was never a big fan of the Beatles. I did appreciate Paul McCartney and Wings a bit more. Pedophilia? I was speaking of the child abuse crime of using hormone blockers on 4 or 14 year olds. You see, I don't care what language or words you use. I'm just saying don't apply that fantasy to myself and my fellow compadres. Just imagine if we come up with nifty names for each and every so-called gender and sexual being that is not natural. Think about that and watch as these words were tossed around you and at you. Maybe you can step outside your victim hood long enough to see why we all don't like being labeled by what has become, our mortal enemies.
@worldscolide Origin doesn't matter for the most part, but meaning does. (Aka no, I don't support people using words with disrespectful meanings to harm or harass people.)
Moreover, I don't have any intention of "winning" and I think if you walk into a discussion with the intention of winning then you probably aren't going to leave having gained very much. It's rather sad that you think that the use of a neutral term referring to a common state of being (or any term really) is an excuse to threaten or enact extreme violence, but if that's the type of "morality" you prefer then I'll leave you to it. I voiced my opinion and attempted to have a reasonable discussion, so I think now is a good time to step away.
There isn’t. I have xx chromosomes and therefore I’m female. I didn’t choose it, I cannot change and others cannot tell me otherwise. Biologically I am female.
Made up words.

I think the word is forced upon people who accept the gender they are assigned at birth. They have to use words accepted by a certain community or else it offends them. Yet people I may call natural have to be called a word they don't agree with being called. Why can't naturals choose a word for themselves.
There isn't. It's a term invented by John money and volkmar, both prolific child rapists and pedophiles.
It's a slur as bad as the N word as far as I'm concerned.
If someone wants to call themselves cis fair enough, just don't call me it
Okay sis, no problem 👌🏼
I still have no clue what it is, and I refuse to look it up. I'm not playing along with the mentally ill community's nonsense
I find it offensive and don't like to be misgendered with it. I'm a straight heterosexual male.
The Term 'Cisgender' Was Coined 29 Years Ago By Dana Defosse, who was at graduate school and writing a paper on the health of trans adolescents. So the ‘term’ has no existence in science. It took years for the ‘term’ to take off, and it was not until 2016 that it entered both the Oxford English Dictionary and Merriam-Webster Dictionary
I don't accept the ridiculous terminology, if that's what you mean. I'm not "CIS", I'm normal, i. e. not a perverted deviant.
I can make up words too.
Sissy: the boys on the left.
Crisp: their destination.
Pud: the girls on the left.
Disagree. There is no such thing as presenting as the gender you were born as? No, that certainly IS a thing. There IS and should be a word to define that, like it or not snowflakes.
I disagree the word should be used but people defined it and the definition of that exists. So if your question is are there natural versions of the sexes the the answer is obviously yes.
The whole 101 genders has exhausted my tolerance.
I disagree that gender is any different to sex and that sex needs any qualification as biological.
Bunkum.
I dont even know what this is no more, what you called me what?
But seriously though what is it?
I'm a guy and was born in a male body. Call me a guy. Cisgender is what trans people use because they don't like that there isn't a word for people born the way that they are. Men born male, women born female.
If there is then I say I identify as a burrito because my jokes are really cheesy.🙄🤣
I mean I think people generally understand that it just means “normal.”
I don't care as long as it's not forced
There are men, there are women, and there are confused people.
No ''Cis''
All words are made up.
It means heterosexual.
There is male, female and Oops.
I don't buy into the woke vocabulary.
