Emmanuel Macron, you should be ashmed of yourself if what happened was done on purpose to humiliate and disrespect our religion or our beliefs!

The world asks us to respect abnormal people who are the lgbtq community and same sex marriages and all these weird sh*t while you don't have respect for our religion, a respect for god who created the universe and us... etc

When you shout out for respect, you have to learn that in order to be respected, you have to respect others!

France was once from the most beautiful countries in the world, considered to have the most wonderful cathedrals and churches, why are you ruining it like that?

I would say it was a show that portrayed how Western European society develops. I don´t blame Macron because the show at the beginning of the Olympic Games isn´t part of job he doesn´t organise the Olympic Games and those shows are done by a commite that isn´t chosen by the government of a country but by the Olympic Comitee and a comitee of the national sports associations.
France is a laicist country that means that the government is neutal in terms of religion. The state isn´t Christian your religion is your private decision it´s not a public interest.

Sure but that´s in part because Western Europe and the rest of the world develop in different ways. I come from a Western Europe country and I´m a Christian, I didn´t like the show as especially as their dance stage showed similarities to the Last Supper but I don´t feel insulted as it doesn´t surprised me. That´s so because I grew up in a culture where religion and faith haven´t played a significant role in politics. To me olympia is of no importance. It´s also not something Macron can be blamed as as he´s not a Christian as far as I know and politically a progressive. He therefore probably wouldn´t have interfered even if he could have.

I was thinking the same thing. Some Muslim girl was condoning violence for blasphemy, because she said Muslims still respect themselves unlike Christians.
