As a conservative, are there any progressive policies you support?

I am very conservative for the most part, but there are some not-so-conservative causes I believe in.

1. I believe mental health care is a must. Severe mental illness costs the economy billions and can also be a public safety issue.

2. Sadly, prisons and jails have become the defacto "mental hospitals". Why not stop the vicious cycle and the costs of incarceration by rehabilitating the mentally ill?

3. I believe basic shelter, water, and food is a human right. I mean damn, even just a very small prefab tiny home for 1 and even just providing crackers is better than homelessness. No one shall be criminalized for homelessness. It isn't exactly "equity" because there will always be those who strive for more, which is a good thing. Get people off the streets.

Here's a thing being homeless it actively and makes people to be schizophrenic, mentally ill. Once you get a ball rolling it's hard to stop. Like what you're saying with our prison system. It's doubling down to create more problems.

Another thing about prisons in the USA. Majority of them are for profit contract to hold as many people as possible to create the highest profit possible for the biggest check from the government.

So not only creating the problem but investing in the problem. Double and doubling down to get as big of a pay check possible. We are actively feeding the problem and starving the real solution. In a self eating loop.

As the progress here I want to end this in every step of the way.

I support the LGBTQ crowd but NOT if they're gonna shove it down my throat every chance they get!!
There IS a bit of a gun issue but, most of it's coming from the left!! Clean up YOUR OWN house before telling me MINE'S dirty!! After you clean up YOUR shit then, we'll SEE how dirty mine is! I'm willing to bet mine won't be a PATCH on YOURS!!

Yes I’d like to see more funding directed towards education and even food security for students. Not saying we have to cut our defense funding in half but could redirect federal funds from other government wasteful pork spending.
