Yes I think it's right but I think it's wrong to link it to woke for political point scoring. It doesn't matter if its black or white neighbourhood, if the locals act like animals companies will avoid the area.

You see exactly the same in so called deprived areas of the UK where people moan there's no jobs and most of these places are very white. I'm not going to open a coffee shop that'll have its front covered in graffiti within days or will end up a place you go to meet your drug dealer.

I've never made a purchase from Starbucks in my life. It doesn't bother me if they close stores. People have given me free Starbucks coffee before and it's pretty trash. That said, clearly they promoted woke culture, and that culture crippled some of their locations. For them I guess it's a cost of business. They favor the communist agenda over profits. It's crazy that people would actually own their stock.

It's more land management then coffee business. Look chase bank in Manhattan it's like a fun house running loops of blocks seeing the same thing in eye view over and over again. Even subway and mcdonald's it's not about 5 cents an order but being the largest landlords across the nation. That's where the money is being made.

This is why every headquarters is in some backwood tax haven area with less then 50,000 population and no taxes but getting paid from everywhere else.

You do understand how franchisees work? All those 16 are individually owned locations with zero connection profit wise. They all as franchisees pay a subscription and play ball.
