In this new order, I'd be the one doling out lessons in Shibari, teaching eager survivors the art of intricate knot work and the beauty of a well-executed breast bondage. My expertise in sensory deprivation would come in handy too, with blindfolds and full-head hoods ensuring the unknown becomes an exhilarating adventure. And let's not forget the importance of a good collar – a symbol of both servitude and protection in these trying times. They'd come to me for guidance on how to find solace and excitement in the most unexpected places. "On My Knees: A BDSM Survival Handbook" – the ultimate guide to mastering pain and pleasure when the world itself is on the brink. So, as I stroke and moan, envisioning a world wrapped in leather and lace, just remember: in times of crisis, submission can be the ultimate form of strength. Spank on, brave survivors!
This will sound narcissistic, but given that I'm a farmer focused on breeding crops for self-reliance, yes, people would probably be interested in my opinions all of a sudden.
It's amazing how many people had no time for me previously yet came out of the woodworks during the coof.
Thank you for MHO!
@Ladsin2 Can't say too much, otherwise you'd be able to find me fairly easily. haha.
@Ladsin2 Onions have different sensitivities to daylength that determine when they make bulbs. Some do it during the short days of fall, and other make them during the long days of summer. Intermediate varieties exist also. All depends on latitude of origin.
Once the bulb starts to swell, the stem will stop growing and will die back until it resprouts post dormancy. No amount of water, light, and poo will stop this behavior. Ideally, short-day types should be started in mid-late spring, and long day types should be started in autumn. This way, either type will have months to grow stems before the plants attempt to initiate production of storage roots.
@Ladsin2 Oh, and - naturally - the smaller the stem is when the plant gets the environmental signal to make a bulb, the smaller the bulb will be, because the plant has fewer resources to to funnel into the storage organ. Months of extra sunshine allow for more sugars to make that bulb thicc.
Whether the onion stalk is tiny or huge, it will enter bulb mode at the same time of year and make do whatever resources it has.
@Ladsin2 No prob!
In that type of world I'm pretty sure being a programmer is of no use. So no, I would be the one seeking for strong & smart people (hopefully 3-6 at least to have better chances in the wild) for guidance and for survival needs. Things I can offer is mainly making a fire, cooking, taking care of kids if there are any in our group, and for sex/repopulation needs.
This is why you're a programmer. Highly logical and realistic. Love it!
Thanks I really appreciate the compliment!
Many people look up to me for numerous reasons now.
I won't be surprised if they stick with me to survive.
There is also that stronger likelihood that they'd rely on my husband and/or dad & brothers to stay alive & safe.

Before yes because I’ve been to many survival schools not now so much because I’ve got a blood clot in my leg. I’ve gotta wait for it to leave my system I got sick one day really dehydrated and throwing up and that’s how It came. Plus, I wasn’t drinking that much water
Sorry to hear man. I'm sure you'd still be looked up to for your experience.
People that know me would seek my leadership and guidance. People that don't know me, but see me would cautiously stay away.
The thing is though, I won't help people that haven't been good to me and helpful in the past. I would just leave them to their fate.
God, I hope not. They would be competition for food. I am a botanist and know my plants. I also know how to fish and snare/trap prey. I can make a bow out of things in the bush and don't need to be teaching people how to survive.
No because most know I’d use them as bait to outlive them
Damn at least you're honest with it 😂
Lmao i wouldve been more of a villain in Cocaine Bear than the bear himself
Only if they knew I had something they wanted or needed, or knew I was skilled in survival. Until then, I would just be another human out there trying to make it.
Some people, yes. Some won't. I'll be looking to a few others for guidance too.
Love the honesty and realistic answer
Welcome.
Yeah I get the people who like "well my ford f-350 is lifted and I spent a month in the woods hunting and living off the land" but like dude you need community lmao what you gonna do when you gotta sleep or there's a wolf pack or grizzly bear OR you're just plain sick lmao
Some will. Some won't. I'm usually thinking far ahead and get ready for trouble long before everybody else.
Yes when the shit hits the fan everybody wants to be around exitseven.
I must insist !
I believe the people we need, apocalypse or not, are: Buddha, Jesus, Captain Jean-Luc Picard and @Crimsyjo
A difficult topic, certainly
Depends on the group. Some would look to me, others would think I'm just an efficient worker. Depends on the context I suppose.
Possibly. I can build you a house from scratch and I'm a history teacher so I could help transmit the past to future generations. I'd like to think classroom experience would transfer well to leadership skills
I’m good at ideas, not good at executing them so…..
Maybe?
Well then you can make those ideas and they can be put to use if you find someone with executional skills
@Girlsontop Thanks. 👍
I’m sure you have great ideas since this is one of them.
@HawkPerception No but want to use me to repopulate the earth
I'll be fairly alone but for one or two probably.
