Why people are becoming so cheap nowadays?

I mean jesus CHRIST i do meet some people who are well off and they are cheap as F. Yes they do pay well for their holiday. But when it comes to their obligations and serious payment they act as if they r broke and can't find money for food. Am i hanging with the wrong crowd maybe? Or anyone else noticed this?

@paledreams While I don't work (well, I'm actually getting there now) but I love cheap stores. Dollar Tree, Walmart, Aldis, Dollar General, etc. you can find some great stuff in there. I mean, I needed more socks, and I bought a pack of socks that was only $3 at Dollar Tree. You wouldn't find that anywhere else.

They're smart, my friend in exotic rentals is worth about 5million but his father is worth around 20million and still uses interest free credit because he can make more investing the money than paying upfront
