Prices tend to not go down much. Gas, heating oil, and natural gas go up and down all the time, and are likely to fall back down as things settle into our new order without Russian exports, but most other goods are probably going to stay close to where they are now at the lowest. The good news is while prices may not go down, wages usually do an ok job at catching up to prices over time, so buying power will improve, even if you're not going to find a 99 cent bottle of soda at a gas station again.

Yup it gets high out here, my rent is high too lol honestly I live pretty well off now and have so for the last few years. Lucky I got my shit done before covid started.
But I get it SoCal is wild right now thanks to Biden way more homeless then before and areas ran down, food has sky rocketed & gas prices are super high. places that were once decent to go around are no longer decent. Would I move to another state NO lol I'm trying to retire here but I see it becoming more and more unliveable for most out here.
But I been broke all my life and always had to figure it out. So I hope everyone eventually finds a way but with Biden sending all our tax dollars to Ukraine & the illegals, over Americans he just fucked everybody.
its high prices everywhere, we are lucky, we bought our house years ago, my husband has a business and we are well off, but I feel for the youngsters, I know there are a few girls near us that are thinking of becoming sex workers, but they should realize that if they are finding it difficult to get money, the men can afford to purchase what they want to sell
Probably not. If inflation is zero, it means prices are not rising. Sadly, it also means they are not going down. For them to reduce, we need a period of deflation. Corporate greed will never allow any significant deflation.

Assuming this is in America then maybe if we start acting like the French and fight are pos politicians who value money over us, then we can the gas problem can be solved if we nationalized the oil instead of selling all of it the housing problem though I don't remember the cure off the top of my head I know we can fix this shit but we have got to stop voting for politicians like Biden, trump, Obama, Bush, the Clintons, the Florida governor who tortured people but I fear we just may need to kill them all and those who fund them they do it to us after all
In CA? Yeah, stop trying. Sell everything you've got and live on the streets. If anything, your quality of life may even improve.
If you dont wanna do that, still sell everything and get the hell out of there. You know sales tax in my state is literally half of what it is in Cali?
It surely will someday, what goes up must eventually come down
When we get a republican president and/or congress, prices will come down for some goods and services.
It started first with the riots of 2020. $2B in damages caused major businesses to increase their prices. Walmart, for one. I remember being able to walk in and buy a weeks groceries for $40. Now. It’s almost double.
The second major event was the Russian invasion. We paid in gas and also in foreign aid to Ukraine.
I think things are going to get worse. Be lucky to be suffering. Other people have it way worse. Look at the border. Those people would kill for our suffering.Certain things that have skyrocketed in price like eggs and gas may get a little cheaper in time but rents will not be going down.
I have roommates. It’s not that big a deal just stay humble and don’t get close to them. It’s like business. Just show respect to each other even if they’re annoying or worse stay cool and calm and gray rock cos a lot of them just want a reaction it seems. If you are a boring gray rock they tend to give up.
We will have a bad recession which will knock down prices. Of course, you may not have a job.
