Is it the social hierarchy/popularity game (which grown adults several years out of high school are entirely too old for, by the way), or what? Why is it that everyone seems to be cool as a cucumber with some asswipe provoking you for an extended period of time, but once you've finally had enough and stand up for yourself, all of a sudden there's a problem? It was like this in the cesspool shithole that was school, and it's not much different in the adult world. Also, why are the worthless shitstains so loved and looked up to? You know, just because they run around ACTING like they're hot shit doesn't mean they actually are, and no, that's not "confidence". Confidence is quiet, and confident people don't feel the need to prove anything to anyone, hence no need to act as if everyone else is beneath them. That's called arrogance, and it's usually a telltale sign of insecurity and a way to overcompensate for it. I expected grown adults to be smarter than that... But no, the arrogant shitheads are adored by society and anyone who dares not to bow to their bullshit is seen as basically worse than Hitler. It's so tiring, I thought these stupid games would end with high school and all of the other adolescent nonsense.

If somebody is messing with you you have to put a stop to it and best way to do it is look straight into their eyes and show them that you're not afraid of them and they can go fuck themselves.
