Anyone ever hear of the the circleville letter writer who do you think did it?

• Unsolved mysteries did an episode on it. They received a letter. In the seventies through the nineties They started sending letters to different people.

They were constantly threatening a bus driver and her family. The wife was having an affair with the school superintendent. The writer was hanging up gross signs all over the town on bus driver's route. the one sign was booby trapped with a gun. the bus driver's husband ended up dying and the another victims husband went to jail for ten years.

It turned out all of the stuff was the writer said was true. They caught a pedophile because of it. They never found out who wrote the letters.

Who do you think it was?

At first I thought it was the sister in law. She was bitter she was living in a beat up camper and had no money for stamps or a car. The letters were postmarked far away.

Or maybe the sheriff. He was buddies with governor. Because he knew everyone and was liked and hated by lots of people. But he would have a lot to lose.

Or maybe the superintendent and he did all this to get the bus driver. They ended up together. The letters stopped closed to when he died.

Hmmm. Sounds familiar. I think they made a TV movie about that in the 90s.

They wrote a letter to Robert stack that he better stay out of circleville and called him an el sicko. I think the watcher was loosely based on it.

I’m familiar with the letters and the storyline. Based on the evidence, and comments from those involved, it seems to me that Karen Sue is a likely suspect. She had a motive and the knowledge to be the author.

I am from Ohio. I never heard of it either until recently. I have heard of sheriff Radcliffe and seen him on TV with the governor for years. He was the longest serving sheriff in Ohio.
