Cool. Dont care. Personally I think the Democrats should just grow a pair and go on the offensive. There are plenty of areas where Republicans are incredibly weak on policy and such not to mention that this is politics so you could quite frankly just lie if you felt like it. Point is that if the Democrats decided to bring out the verbal knives then it would become an easy bloodbath since the Republicans have become so soft without opposition for so long.

According to polls, the only issues voters trust Democrats more than Republicans are abortion and climate change (and the latter one is a priority for very few people)

On everything else: economy, inflation, immigration, trans issues, voters trust Republicans more. They even trust Republicans more on democracy (which is hillarious, considering Democrats spent 4 years calling Trump "a threat to democracy".

DOGE is something, that is controversial at the moment, but it's also not a very good line of attack. While it's true that Musk is unpopular, but polls show that 51% od Americans support the idea behind DOGE (aka: deregulations and shrinking beaurocracy).

On policy issues the American people is like 80-90% on the Democrats side. You know, the things that actually matters and how the country is operated. That is a perfectly good place to start attacking the Republicans.

Also, it is very telling that the American people have very strong beliefs about the Republican party and their positions that just are not true. The fact that they believe the Republicans stands for a strong economy or for the benefit of veterans is eternally hilarious to me since they are like the first two things the Republicans always attacks and ruins when in power.

Economy was very good during first Trump's term, until COVID. Even Democrats agreed on that.

No, the economy tanked before Covid19 struck. Covid19 just gave Trump good cover to excuse his poor economic performance. Also the economy was good because Obama handed over a very strong economy that took a long time to falter and die.

There was also a major crash in exports due to Trump messing around with tariffs just like he is doing currently. The thing that kept Trump above water the last time was mostly the economic inertia he inherited from Obama. Covid19 struck at about the time where things began to slow down and turn for the worst.
