https://youtube.com/shorts/gjj_MXq9krQ?si=aB51Dq4YeO4veMk-As the point of the video the opposite is true.
Sure someone did a crime but the government dosen't get to drag them to the public square for hanging. From there the family gets lynched too for conspiracy.
The government is the most powerful, financial juggernaut and the only thing are these constitutional laws. Isn't that the whole one world order government conspiracy yet turn a blind eye to everyday abuse of power if only you personally enjoy the power and control of said power.

1 yUnder the US judicial system, it us the job of a defense lawyer to defend the accused as best as possible.
Few know that John Adams, who was a lawyer before he became the nation's second President, defended the British soldiers accused of killing colonists in the Boston Massacre. Many criticized him, but he said that everyone is entitled to a fair trial.

5.7K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. A defense lawyer does NOT know that his client is guilty. If a lawyer does, then he or she is not permitted to defend his client. Basically, lawyers are ethically compelled not to commit perjury (which is a felony and would lead to disbarment). So, when a defense lawyer takes the case, while the lawyer may privately believe (and believe is the operative word) that the client is guilty, the lawyer must not know this for a fact.

@Blunky While, yes, it may seem to be a conflict of interest - and I am not denying it is - what I am failing to get across is that a lawyer is "An officer of the court".
I asked Google Gemini about that term just to make sure I got it right.
https://g.co/gemini/share/bcef58d48b11
===========
The term "officer of the court" refers to individuals who have a professional obligation to uphold the law and contribute to the proper administration of justice within the legal system. This encompasses a range of roles, including:
* Judges: They preside over court proceedings and ensure fairness and impartiality.
* Attorneys: Lawyers have a duty of candor to the court, meaning they must be truthful and adhere to court rules.
* Court personnel: This includes clerks, bailiffs, and other staff who facilitate the smooth operation of the court.
* Other officials: In some contexts, this can also include probation officers, and other people that are directly involved with the court processes.
Essentially, an officer of the court is anyone whose actions have a direct impact on the integrity and functionality of the judicial process.
=======
So, as you see, it is imperative that lawyers (who are officers of the court) do not perjure themselves. Doing so ruins the case in which the lawyer perjures and would lead to disbarment - the lawyer would lose their license to practice law and be denied the right to appear in court as a lawyer. The lawyer's life as a lawyer would be over. - 1 y

I asked this question to Google, then Google Gemini:
Question: If a lawyer commits perjury, will that lead to disbarment?
=========
Google "AI Overview"
Yes, if a lawyer commits perjury, it can lead to disbarment, as it constitutes a serious violation of their ethical duties and the trust placed in them by the court and the public.
Here's a more detailed explanation:
* Perjury Defined:
Perjury is the act of making a false statement under oath or affirmation, which is a serious offense.
* Lawyer's Duty of Honesty:
Lawyers have a fundamental duty to be honest and truthful in their dealings with the court and other parties.
* Disciplinary Action:
When a lawyer commits perjury, it is a serious breach of ethics and can result in severe disciplinary action, including suspension or disbarment.
* Disbarment:
Disbarment is the permanent removal of a lawyer's license to practice law.
* Other Penalties:
Besides disbarment, a lawyer who commits perjury can face criminal penalties, including fines and imprisonment.
* Examples of Perjury:
A lawyer could commit perjury by knowingly submitting false documents to the court, making false statements in court, or suborning perjury by encouraging a client or witness to lie.
* Ethical Obligations:
Lawyers have a duty to correct any false statements made by their client, if they become aware of them.

Google Gemini answer:
https://g.co/gemini/share/395d65e16d2f
Perjury is a very serious offense, especially for a lawyer, as it directly undermines the integrity of the legal system. Here's a breakdown of how it relates to disbarment:
* Ethical Obligations:
- Lawyers have a fundamental duty of honesty and candor to the court. Perjury violates this core ethical principle.
- Bar associations and courts take breaches of this duty very seriously.
* Disciplinary Actions:
- Committing perjury can lead to severe disciplinary actions, including disbarment.
- The severity of the consequences depends on factors such as:
> The materiality of the false statement.
> The lawyer's intent.
> Any prior disciplinary record.
- While disbarment is a strong possibility, other penalties can include suspension or other disciplinary actions.
* Legal Consequences:
- In addition to disciplinary actions, perjury is also a crime, and a lawyer can face criminal prosecution.
- Therefore a lawyer committing perjury could face both criminal charges and disbarment.
In essence, while disbarment isn't an automatic guarantee in every perjury case, it's a very real and likely consequence due to the severe breach of ethical and legal obligations. - 1 y
So, back to your original question:
Q: Why is it illegal to hide a fugitive but it's completely legal for lawyers to defend people that they know is guilty?
A: It isn't completely legal for lawyers to defend people that they know is guilty. In fact, it's not legal at all and the lawyer could face criminal charges of perjury, not to mention disbarment, if the lawyer does that.

Asker1 yyou're 61 and on social media, the question ain't that serious old man 😂
now you're being ageist.
Asker1 yYou started it, I hit you with the same energy
I'm insulting your intelligence, really. Your age is irrelevant.
Asker1 yAn insult for an insult, insulting someone and not expecting an insult back is actually a sign of low intelligence, mostly since it's only common sense that it's the reaction you should expect, you don't seem very bright either, just bitter
I get it, you're trying to be cute, but it's not working.
Asker1 yCute? Asking about lawyers? You are trying to be wise, I get it but it's not working
Do you understand what attorney/client privilege is?
Asker1 yKinda, not much cause I didn't study law, which is just a topic, I bet you didn't study coding or entrepreneurship, using your logic that makes you a dumbass.
Really? Because I was a software developer at one point in my career.
Asker1 yI'm not buying it, if you were then id expect you to be better with common sense, you are so ignorant it makes you retarded, someone with software development skills would have the patience and common sense to see the difference in intelligence and the lack of information from a specific topic, there's many topics you lack knowledge on, I didn't think you were stupid until you projected it with your ignorance, old man 💀
Once again, I understand software development and the basics of law. sorry this upsets you that you're around your better. With time you may gain some knowledge.
Asker1 yYou clearly have nothing better to do with your retirement, you claim to know so much, it's hard to believe you have any useful skills, your age tells me you barely even know what a computer is and it's easy to lie on the internet, I bet you can barely even understand the current device you have now, unless you are using a flip phone or something lmao
the more ignorant shit you type the funnier you are.
Asker1 yAll I'm seeing is you can start an argument but not end one, shows you have no spine.
Asker1 yI shut you up real quick is how I'm seeing it
Yeah you would see it that way;... cause you're half a retard.
Asker1 yI see it that way cause it's the truth, you talked shit til I replied, what can I say, I like confrontation, I don't talk shit and hide in a corner like you do, people here would know I don't like to argue unless I'm provoked which you have done, so I have no guilt holding me back from shaming you by calling you out on your bullshit, you question my intelligence for lacking knowledge in law, I question your intelligence for starting a conversation with such arrogance, only someone that lacks a specific amount of brain cells would question someone else's intelligence when they are asking a question about something they don't know in order to improve their intelligence so knowing this as yourself who the real retard is.
Asker1 yAsk*
No, what you like to do is bluster like a keyboard warrior.
Asker1 yToday you've shown nothing but your own disability to comprehend what intelligence really is, intelligent people don't believe they know everything and stop learning because they believe they are know it alls, intelligent people keep seeking knowledge to grow their knowledge not stop and judge on other individuals because they simply lack knowledge on something, an intelligent person would've answered my question and given me the knowledge not make a dumb comment to show that they believe they are intelligent.
Right, I don't stop learning. Which is why I understand coding, I understand the basics of US law and how it works, I understand a whole host of things.
Asker1 yYou don't understand the difference between idiocy and intelligence tho, which isn't only ironic but it's funny, if by keyboard warrior you mean I won't Assault you in person then you are correct, I'd defend myself if necessary but I'm not an animal, id tell you straight to your face tho like I'm trying to do here, if you personally become aggressive I'll defend myself since I am knowledgeable on my self defense laws, you either consume this new knowledge and act like a true intelligent person or continue to delute yourself with false superiority while making yourself look stupid, the choice is yours, I know where I stand, I asked a question seeking for knowledge you made a dumb remark patting yourself on the back while completely avoiding to answer the question, only one of us looks stupid here.
alright kiddo. I'll make it simple for you. Lawyers take an oath when they get admitted to the bar that they will maintain confidence with their clients and defend them to the best of their ability. They can lose their ability to practice law if they don't defend clients.
Harboring fugitives has no such obligation and is actively hindering a legal investigation.
Hope this helps clear it up for you.
Asker1 yWas that so hard old man? knowledge is free, unless you are dumb enough to pay for college that is, it took a whole argument for you to properly answer the question.
It's embarrassing you didn't know this basic concept.
Asker1 yIt's embarrassing you got humbled by a 23 year old, I even got what I was looking for out of you, there's no going back from that, rip your pride 😂🫵🏼
This reminds me of you
Asker1 yYea but he still got the drink, medal and the chick, the other two are just watching, that is basically me, that third spot seems to have better results than the first and second tho, so you are saying I'm better than you even tho I'm in third place cause that's what this image is showing 😂
Asker1 yAnd on top of that he's happy in third place, that makes you in first and miserable, sucks to be you 😂
you're trying so hard to pull this L out. That's desperate.
Asker1 yYou legit ate everything I told you like a good little boy and still gave me my answer to what I was looking for, it seems you haven't soaked in your defeat yet since you even had to look up an image to try and phase me, you can phase me bro, suck it
bahaha. Are you autistic or something?
Asker1 yOut of comebacks I see, no you are, we have covered this already, but I guess I have to reply slow for you 💀
SO you are retarded. Got it.
Asker1 yNot acknowledging my reply actually shows true signs of retardation, way to go on helping me prove my point 😂🫵🏼
you don't have a point other than being the biggest fucktard I've encountered on this site today.
Asker1 yThat's clearly not true or you wouldn't still be replying, I know me stomping on your pride is a hard pill to swallow but you either swallow it or choke on it, the choice is yours 😂
Aren't you late for your entrepreneurship that you're a genius about? What time does the glory hole open?
Asker1 yNow your relied to perversion because it's clear it's the only thing you got left, as a desperate old man, no wife, no life, no pride, sad indeed, you can always count on your porno addiction to fight your battles for you tho from what it seems, what a clown 😂
I'll have to tell my wife and kids some loser gen z says I don't have a life. Thanks for the insight.
Asker1 yYou have a wife and have a porno addiction, that is sad for your wife, she can do better 😂
Does she know you fantasize glory holes that you couldn't keep shut about it during an argument? 🤡you're projecting again. I'm just assuming this is the best "entrepreneurship" your capable of based on your intelligence level, other than standing on a street corner trying to sell your buddy's shitty rap CD.
Asker1 yNo I'm not, you brought up glory holes, you can't just bring up such a thing into an argument and not expect to get flamed about it, I had a decently good argument going til you felt the need to sexualize it, I see why you are on here 😂
it's just you seem like a dick sucking homo.
Asker1 yBecause I corrected you on your bullshit? Really ask yourself who's actually projecting here cause I know it ain't me 😂
No, it's because you seem like a homo.
Asker1 yBecause you have no comeback, everyone's go to insult when they run out of comebacks is to use the good ol gay card, I'm straight and secure, you can't phase me but now I know you are hella phased, and angry, which just satisfies my soul 😂
Are you sure about that?
Asker1 yPositive, so what's your next comeback or was I correct and you threw your last card on the table? 😂
lol. I'm just laughing that you think you're doing something.
Asker1 yI must be since you are still replying 😂
so are you, genius.
Asker1 yYea but it's my question tho, besides I'm winning the argument, why would I tap out, how you fall for that bait? 💀
You're supremely confident in your stupidity. I guess that runs cover for your lack of intelligence.
Asker1 yI'm confident in your lack of ability to properly argue so I can take you for a clown, as you can tell I've started doing so a long time ago, you wouldn't know intelligence if it sat on your face, your definition of intelligence is to judge people when they lack knowledge, that's not intelligence, that's immaturity.
you're awfully butthurt you weren't bright.
Asker1 ySounds like you are butthurt in this situation, you threw everything you possibly could and most of it had nothing to do with the topic, you even lack the ability to pay attention 😂
I'm still waiting to be dazzled by your entrepreneurship, lol.
Asker1 yOf course you are, I'm not sharing my ideas, it's the first rule of entrepreneurship, you clearly didn't know that, I guess you lack intelligence 😂🤡
god damn, that's hilarious.
Asker1 yI know, your logic is stupid I agree
Let me guess, you have a ton of hot chicks, too.. but they live in Canada, so I wouldn't know them.
Asker1 yNope, I'm not a man hoe, but that's an interesting idea of me you have concocted, inaccurate, but I don't expect accuracy from you, not everyone lies about their life like you do
So you're admitting you're an ugly fuck women are repulsed by.
Asker1 yNo I'm admitting Im not a man women are all over, sounds like you are projecting again old man 😂
Bro the profile pic says otherwise.
Asker1 yOh wow a old man in his 60s thinks I'm unattractive, good riddance, you have a picture of a white ball, something you don't have cause you were to insecure to put a picture 😂
nah, but it explains a lot about you.
Asker1 yAre your opinions on my looks suppose to be valid? 😂
I get it bro. You couldn't get into college so its "man, you're stupid for paying for education", you can't get chicks so its "man, I'm not a man whore, I have self respect". You're a broke ass so it's "man, I don't share my top secret entrepreneur skills, they're too good to share".
Asker1 ySounds like your assumptions, there's only one of us living miserable here and that is you buddy, I'm chillin, I never said I was a business man, I said entrepreneur which is a mentality and lifestyle, you need to learn the differences of things, besides I accept my struggles, Im also young and have the opportunity to not become a miserable sack of insecurities like you, I got something you don't got, I have my youth and now I can use it to make you eat your words, you don't act like a happily married individual, it's either a lie or you are a cuck and your wife has better options and you are rubbing all your insecurities on the internet because all you cope with now is your self created delusion that you made the right choices in life 😂

In our (non US) legal system defence lawyers are still officers of the court and can't lie to the court. I did think US lawyers could but I read something that said otherwise recently.
It would be naive to think a lawyer doesn't "guide" a client to a position that is best for them or "might not" hear and ask "did you say you killed him in cold blood?".
However it is absolutely a must-be that be that a defendant is represented and plead for.
I was assaulted a couple of years back. I was opening a door and the guy charged out at me pushing me down some stairs. Then he came twice more to to assault me further. His lawyer plead that "he only assaults people every 5 years or so - so it is not that bad".
I am not offended by that but I am pissed off the prosecutor shut up and didn't say uncontrolled rage every 5 years IS bad and argue he should get custodial sentence.
