To trust or to distrust? What is hardest in your opinion?

Distrust is easy, it starts to be complicated and difficult when you have to evaluate person you want on your side.

In relationship is trust rather goodwill than rational decision. We all want to have refuge at home where we can trust and aren't lied to and deceived like everywhere outside. However this trust is often not more than a wish think to gratify our egos and to increase artificially level of our self-evaluation.

It's much easier to distrust. It takes courage to trust and let someone in. When you trust, it gives someone the the potential to hurt you.
