What do you think about "abundance liberalism"?

In short "abundance liberals" believe that the left-wingers' obsession with protecting various minorty groups causes them to not get anything done. They believe that the state is still needed to achieve progressive ideals in affordable housing, public transport and fighting climate change, but that it can only be achieve by deregulation, even if it means less protection for certain minority groups.

Liberals like big government and to expand the powers of the state and trample all over the rights of citizens. In the state I live in the government is forcing certain communities to accept housing projects supposedly in an effort to create low income housing. Naturally the town where the governor lives in is exempt from this.
People like me worked hard and sacrificed to save enough money to live in a nice town only to have the state come in and force the town to accept what people move to the suburbs to avoid and see their schools become over crowded and crime go up.
In the town I live in the town allowed an affordable housing project. It has about 50 or 60 units. If you read the police blotter half the calls originate from there.

Not all of us agree that the government should be involved in social engineering and not all of us agree that climate change is a manmade phenomenon that threatens our continued existence.

Please dont put liberals and left wingers into one pot. The American liberals are are center left at most compared to world wide views. Most of democrats would still be viewed as right wing in a lot of countries.
If you are talking about Ezra Kleins point of view, there have been critiques saying that his point is bassically a critique to utopism. For the problem to even occur, you would need a near utopia in the first place. But I have hot read his book "abundance" yet, so maybe that will change my point of view.

Yes, coined by ezra klein at et all. That's why I asked about it. Or I think it is, because I first heard about it when I heard about his book. I haven't read the book yet so I can't be sure. I know more about it in a few weeks I guess.🙈 My reading lists (plural) Are too long.
