Which country in the world has the best or most luxurious prisons?

it must be the US. The prisons are about the same as the dorm room I had in college except there is bars on the windows. It costs between $80,000 and $100,000 per year to incarcerate somebody.

@exitseven you have obviously never seen the inside of a US prison. I worked as a prison doctor, and I have. You are VERY WRONG. Go get a tour of a state or federal prison, and then tell us what you think.

@msc545 I supplied equipment and uniforms to several prisons. Most were not much different than my college dorm except for the bars on the windows and locks on the doors.

@exitseven Then you have not been to any real prisons. Real prisons have high walls and lethal electric perimeter fences and cramped concrete cells with thick steel sliding doors that are controlled remotely, and many guards and guard towers that have guys with rifles in them. A bit different than your college dorm I imagine.

I don't know where you were, but I can tell you it was NOT a real prison.

Sweden and Norway have humane prisons that rehabilitate effectively. The purpose is not vengeance as it is in the US.
