Is it bad to think that hitler was a good speaker?

Disclaimer I’m not endorsing his beliefs. I like to listen to speeches from political figures, athletes, etc since I was a child. I went down a rabbit hole learning how hitler got people to agree with his belief and I didn’t understand it. I watched one of his speeches and it became more clear. If you separate his actions and just study his speech pattern etc I think others would agree with me.

Good speaker? Maybe he developed some technical talent over time. Mostly I think he was focused as only a psychopath can be. His lack of conscience was an asset. And the German people were a receptive audience for anyone delivering the message they wanted to hear in that moment after a generation of economic misery following WWI and the treaty of Versailles. The psychopath in Hitler had an endgame in mind. He read the German people like a comic book. And he had no internal mechanism that tempered his behavior from committing atrocities and telling any lie to get what he wanted.

Good speaker? As in he could sway public opinion to get what he wanted? Yeah, in a very specific circumstance.

Good speaker? As in, he could inspire people to greatness? No, he was a psychopath who inspired people to commit atrocities they would take to their graves.

Hitler studied pubic speaking, and learned how to influence people and get them to believe whatever he said. I don't support his beliefs, but his speaking style has been studied by many, and contains many positive aspects about public speaking.

It's not bad, it's pretty much a fact and also the reasons he got so popular, he wouldn't have gotten popular if he was not good at talking also before the war he made some good things (like cheap car for the people volkswagen, made autobahn, etc...) he made plenty go good things before going crazy.

Yes, Adolf Hitler was an expert at public speaking and stirring the passions of millions to drive them to horrible actions in the name of an extremely twisted sense of justice. No villain in history gained power without convincing others what they were doing was “the right thing.”

I've spoken to public speaking teachers and I agree with them. He was a dynamic, cunnning, charming speaker. Volume, gesticulations, storytelling, timing - he did ALL of it like a master class. He could read the room.

I don't think it's controversial in any way to say that he was a good public speaker.

He knew how to exploit people’s fears and utilize specific language to get his political viewpoints across. Some people didn’t even subscribe to the hateful nature, it was also a factor that people felt heard & seen by him since no other politician was doing so. Talked about bringing the German spirit back and revitalizing their power.

He is an evil man and awful, did The Holocaust so I would analyze how he rose to power to prevent us from going down that path of Autocracy again.

(And before you pile, no I'm not comparing Trump's actions with those of Hitler... only his use of speaking to crowds. I don't think Trump is a genocidal maniac... just a very dumb man that is way out of depth in possibly the most difficult job on Earth and who enjoys the appearance of having power)

No, he definitely had a way with words. He was also charismatic and has the “charm” to get people to follow him no matter how unhinged his believes were.

People are attracted to Charismatic people, and people who take charge and behave like they know what they are doing. I think Hitler was one of those people. He was sincere and sincerely wrong.
