Philosophy vs Philosopher? Which one would you rather be and why?

When I ask these kinds of questions what I want to know is if you'd prefer to be the person that invented the philosophy or be the philosophy itself. Just have fun with it and don't overthink it too much.

I'd rather invent it. I don't think of it as inventing anything, but I don't want to repeat the same ol' same ol'.

Why the hell would I want to say the same thing everyone else is saying? What purpose does that serve? If it's not new, then it's just a vote.

I don't really get the question, even after the update, no one invented THE philosophy (as an ensemble), it's a collective work. People have "invented" small pieces of THE philosophy, aka schools of thoughts for instance, which were based on previous pieces anyway so there's no invention, just building up. In that sense, no one can be the philosophy.

Did you know words beginning with Phil have a Greek root meaning love or fondness for a particular thing.

Yes i do know that. I studied Greek, Latin and Greek mythology as well as philosophy during High School.

But I found that Diogenes of Sinope has (or had, rather) similar ideas to mine.

Anyhow - I will remain my self and own kind of philosopher.

I’m guessing when you say “philosophy” you mean a living example of it. And honestly? There’s no real difference between the two in that case. No one better exemplifies their philosophy than the person credited for creating it

To be philosophy would be much intresting than to become a philosopher. And I would love to have a philosopher who could read this philosophy word to word closest to it's true essence.
