In the new trump era there are lies and misinformation but it's kinda hypocritical when u say it's new thing or whatever and that we should blindly trust centralized authority information
I'm not one to trust any conspiracy theory decentralized guy
But you can't claim to be anti establishment and call authoritative source skeptic/critic conspiracy theory/misinformation if you can't even listen to them
The words "conspiracy theory" and "misinformation" are abused by losers who don't even look into shit and just say central authority said this so we believe if even though we never saw it we just heard it online

Missinfirmation is far from new. Internet just made it easier to spread and harder to check.
The whole nazi regime for example was based around missinformation and centralized goverment. Generally a goverment can be centralized without fear of missinformation as long as schools and universities are free and can choose to teach what they want. If goverment is regulating schools and universities than missinfirmatiom starts to take roots and it gets dangerous.

No one is deciding what missinformation is, and what is not. Universities work by science. Banning books though is hardly doing good work to keep an unregulated flow of information that is not falsified.

Because they’ve only just become aware of it. The burden of knowledge is that you forget what it’s like not to know and subsequently you lose compassion for those who are now learning it.
