Do you accept violence for your kids?

Bullying, sexual assault, rape, discrimination, racism, war, sexualization etc...

the violence never seems to end.

People in their teens, 20s, and even 30s just go along with it as long as they are not the victim.

How do you choose to have kids and do you care for the world they will live in? Are you just going along with what you are suppose to do?

The human race as been violent from day 1. It's part of our evolutionary behaviors. This is probably the least dangerous the world has ever been. Get some historical perspective.

I am well aware of the past and what has happened even recently across the globe. That does not invalidate the fact that it is an issue, and several people who claim to live in a better system with higher standards, still manage to find ways to be hypocritical and extremely violent because of lack of self-awareness and a sheltered upbringing. There are those who always wish to improve this status quo because they understand the glamour of war and violence is truly only self-destructive and leaves no winners. If there was no merit to this, we would still live like cavemen murdering and raping left, right and center. Civilized society and law and order formed for a reason yet much work is still left to be done.

What inspires my question is the group of people who simply accept and excuse the violence simply because they want to avoid confrontation. They act like bystanders, ignore these issues, up until it directly affects them and then they hypocritically claim to be victims and these issues perpetuate on and on.

The world is a violent place. I learned this from an early age. I still stop and look at every corner for potential threats and if somebody was to sneak up behind me I might smack them before realizing it.

If you pay attention to number of teens bullied, commiting suicide, how common sexual assault and rape is in the real world... not your softball American subarban neighborhood or your corner of the woods that exists under a rock... or if you ever served in armed forces and saw people getting blown up, maimed, and destroyed for life with piss poor support from veteran affairs... you would piss in your panties. Let alone the communities systematically destroyed by government negligence or a foreign country comitting war crimes or genocide on them.
