Is neighbor using ceiling thumper?

Vibrations from downstairs is so intense I can't sleep and my kid starts moving in their sleep. It can be felt in every room throughout my apartment. It's intense and then less intense, then at times it's like I don't feel it. What could it be? Slumlord won't investigate nor care.

I could post 10-20 more of those posts but instead I'll have the admin of @girlsasksuys take a look at both this account and that old one. I'm a bit surprised that you are up in arms about your neighbor using a ceiling thumper since you used to do the same thing to other people and at a prolific rate by the looks of it. I suggest that you move to a new building and have the movers toss you ceiling thumper when you move. It is clearly an issue in you life and not having all that thumping going on will do you some good and maybe calm your mind don't you think so?

Yup. Low frequency sound waves. They can set up "sympathetic" vibrations and make en entire structure vibrate. They aren't trying to annoy you. They are listening to music. Maybe a bit too loud but probably not an act of aggression.
