It's being done because voter fraud has been rampant throughout the USA. That is one of the major tasks the Trump administration plans to tackle int the first two years before midterms. It's funny that Democrats are "concerned" about it. It's a clear indication that they are criminals and are afraid of being arrested for past crimes.

The guy in the video is also a complete retard and knows nothing about the law. It's basic knowledge that the Elections Clause gives constitutional authority to regulate elections for the U. S. to Congress (i. e. Federal Government). Voter protection, fraud prevention, vote counting, etc. all fall under that authority.

It is actually a requirement under 52 U. S. Code § 20507 that states maintain an accurate and current voter registration roll for elections for Federal office. Thus the Federal government can audit said rolls to ensure each state is in compliance with the law.

One of the promises that Trump made when he ran for president was that he would have secure elections. Everyone knows that the voting machines are a big source of voter fraud. They really should be scrapped but he is at least having them inspected.
