Now that Trump has ruined the economy and financial markets is there an Obama like Democrat who can save America again?

Yesterday all major indexes in the stock market posted record closes. So did my retirement account. Inflation is declining a little every month since Trump took office and the job numbers have been better than expected for 5 of the 6 months. There has been 5 trillion dollars that will be invested in America from foreign countries, most is in response to Trump's tariff policies. This will create many new jobs in the private sector.
Thr US treasury has taken in over one hundred billion dollars while inflation has steadily declined.
The only thing that needs to happen is the fed needs to lower interest rates. Trump is pushing for that and will replace Powell if he has to.

@exitseven Evaluating the stock market on a one day basis is ignorant. Inflation is actually climbing and at an all time high. Living wage jobs don't exsist in America at all. Job numbers reflect all jobs, what good does a $13/hr job do when cost of living has exponentially spiked? In addition Cheetoes Tarrif tantrum is costing the average American Thousands of dollars. The liberation day tarries were a failure. He's basically destroyed the middle class, while creating the modern day equivalent of SS storm Troopers. Je's spent millions on an already over budget economy to basically Harrass brown Americans at home depot. He's ruined FEMA and proved to be incompetent when handling disasters like what happened in Texas. Because of his dumb ass policy over 100 people died. Etc, etc dude probably one of worse leaders in last 250 years. The only thing he has going for him is thar his cult followers aren't smart enough to recognize his failures.

infltion has been 2.4% . When Biden was president he said it was 9% but I think they cooked the books so we would not have the "double digit" inflation we had when jimmy Carter was president. I a not evalusting the stock market on a one day basis. It has been on a tear since Trump won the election and despite the artificial pullback caused by the democrats and fake news , saying 24/.7 that the tariffs were going to drive the economy off a cliff. The economy has been phenomenal.
If Trump can bully Powell into lowering interest rates it will do even better.

@exitseven What economy are you referring to? The cost of literally every goods and services have gone up; while the number if living wage jobs have disappeared. We haven't even gotten into the daily riots, bidding the Epstein files and numerous other nonsense the country has endured during Cheetoes 6 months. The economy part is typical of most Republicans they spend recklessly and then Democrats have to come in and fix the budget, ie Clinton and Obama, however the numerous other issues created by Cheetoe make this perhaps the most embarrassing presidency in recent memory. Then he's going to attempt to run for a third term, and use lessor educated people like yourself to justify his actions.

Gas is the lowest since 2021 and going lower, Eggs cost half what they did when Biden was president. Some prices will go down and some will not. Merchants are always fast to raise prices and very slow in reducing them. It takes longer for price drops to work their way through the economy.
I think that when interest rates are lowered it will have a profound effect on a lot of things like the housing market.

Oh let’s not forget that under your savior Obama I paid the highest gas prices EVER! $5.50-$6.00 a gallon in the east coast. And not for nothing but the markets are doing ok. They go up and down all the time… that’s nothing new.
