I have a huge disdain for leftists, liberals, democrats, or whatever they are now. They seem to favor and obsess over radical social engineering, identity politics, and want to demonize or ostracize those who don't fall into their their woke nonsense. They are the type that cause you to lose your job or livelihood just because you used the wrong "pronoun". They are the ones who push for Critical Race Theory (CRT), DEI, and including schoolchildren in their wacko beliefs. They want to fund genital mutilation for kids and let illegal aliens roam freely without consequences. They want you to pay for abortions. They want you to foot the bill for migrants. Then, they want to throw the book at you if you are too persistent with women, claiming it is "harrassment" or "stalking" for staring more than a few seconds. These are crazy and rabid people who hate Christians and Jews but will roll out the red carpet for Muslims and anyone who isn't white.

Then you have the hard-core right, who loves police officers but shits on their firefighters and EMS personnel (at least here in my state). Fire and EMS is often treated second-class, is not considered much in legislation, and is disregarded in many situations. My state is one of only 10 that doesn't have enhanced penalties for assaulting a firefighter or EMT, but the recent "Back the Blue" Act enhanced these penalties for assaulting a cop, leaving out firefighters and EMTs with this legislation. 42 percent of fire departments in my state are classified by the state Fire Marshal's office as either "At-Risk" or "Distressed". There are no incentives for volunteers. There is no appeal process for sanctions against EMS personnel licenses, which can stem from a single complaint. My state also experiences an issue with hospital closures and infrastructure issues due to a large influx of new residents from out-of-state and lack of funding. I am mostly conservative, but I care about everyday Americans. I care about all of our uniformed heroes, and I believe firefighters and EMS personnel are an integral component of public safety just as much as law enforcement.

I believe in Americans first. I support the working-class and middle-class, and I believe they deserve protection and rights. I don't believe in illegal immigration or supporting the world when we cannot even help ourselves. There is no excuse for homelessness when we forke

There's NEVER been a time in the history of the USA where were NO racial tensions, but I don't expect that you know anything about the real history of the USA. I am not a fan of Bush either, from the 2008 Great Recession/Housing market crash to the invasion of civilian privacy, common core, and no child left behind. Of course, I was only a child during this time.

When Obama took office, identity politics exploded. Politically correct (PC) movements, the weaponization of the race card, and just overall divisive rhetoric and politics based in race and other protected classes took hold. The Xiden regime made this much, much worse in addition to the illegal alien crisis, massive inflation, and crime. Prior to Obummer, I can recall we weren't nearly as divided as we are now. Socially, culturally, and ethically things took a turn for the worse.

I have had gay friends. I don't hate gay people. I am tired of all the social engineering bullshit and forcing these controversial issues in our facing and involving our children. There is something wrong when there is a celebration of sexuality in the workplace with events and parties. In addition, it is highly inappropriate to bring controversial CRT topics into the workplace. Places like these used to be professional and off-limits for topics like this.

I think you have the crazy, irrational, lunatic left; the selfish, greedy right who only care about law enforcement, roads, and the courts and nothing/nobody else unless it affects them personally in the moment; and then you have everything in between. I lean more right. I don't believe in big government and being taxed out the ass, but I do believe fire and emergency services are essential and believe hospital closures are a concern. Whether or not these resources receive direct tax revenue, I believe there could still be more advocacy and initiatives to improve these things in ways that do not necessarily mean funding through tax dollars. As I said, actions as simple as making assaults against EMS and Firefighters a felony to match most other states. Maybe offering incentives for volunteers, such as eliminated vehicle registration fees or reduced property taxes, to help improve recruitment and retention.

What do you mean? Both have proven to be shitty, jaded, and removed from common-sense pertaining to many important issues. I lean mostly conservative, but holy shit. I have uncovered more issues lately that flies above the radar of most everyday people.
