Is it reasonable to question the detainmant of an individual because of their skin color?

I went to Walmart today and I saw three cop cars lined up and there was a women being detained with her children watching. I told a man who was watching "i hope it has nothing to do with her children" he said "im afraid she's being detained because she's black"

Three cop cars came to the store because there was a black woman? Who actually believes nonsense like that?
The cops were probably called because she was shoplifting. Oh, but shoplifting while black shouldn't be a crime, right. After all, black people are victims.

Yes, that was fucking stupid of you. Maybe she knifed someone in the store, maybe she got into an altercation with another shopper, etc etc.

To simply state a racial motive when you had no information, i would have arrested you as well for being a public nuisance.

Yes, far too many law enforcement people are also racists, so it's not unusual that they would detain anybody who isn't white more readily than they detain white people.
